The implanted Word of God changes an individual: his reactions, emotions, behaviour II

Welcome, dear readers, to our „Daily Word for Spiritual Edification»!I believe the Word of God is able to change and transform the life of every person that makes a decision to live in accordance to the Word! The Word of God that is alive and active can do things that no one can do. No human being can heal the spirit, the soul or the body, but God’s Word can. Nobody can save the life of a person from grave, but God’s Word can!
«He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction» (Psalm, 107:20).
God’s Word is able to radically change your life. And it is wonderful! We can’t even imagine and fully grasp what a tremendous power is contained in God’s Word! It does not matter what circumstances surround you today and what people are saying or doing against you. It often happens that the closest people hurt us and it affects us deeply. For example, if you are married to a person that wastes all the money on drinking or gambling, you are affected by it, and it is a very sad situation. Or, you are working very hard but you are not paid at all or you are underpaid. Different unpleasant situations can happen to us, but I want to tell you that all of them can change. The important truth is that changes start from within – within me and within you. Let’s begin our search to the solution of our problems from ourselves.
  1. Take charge of your destiny.
  2. Realize that it starts with you. Don’t ever get involved in ‘the blame game’! It is not wise. Do not blame other people; when you do, you give the authority over your life to them. Be careful with your words because life and death is in the power of your tongue. Things that you say become the law for you.
  3. Believe that your situation and your circumstances can change.
Negative situations and difficult circumstances changed for Joseph, David, Daniel, Joshua, Caleb and many other Bibles characters, because they kept the Word of God hidden in their hearts. So, you need to keep the Word in your heart, not just read it. The Word heals us! God works from inside out; in most cases people do not notice it, they think that everything is staying the same. But in reality a very important work is going on inside of them. It is similar to the building of a house. When the construction work begins, they place fences around the site. Afterwards it might seem that nothing changes. Time goes by, and we get the impression that something is going on, but not much, since we can’t really see anything. But the truth is that the foundation is being laid. When it is finished, the building itself seemingly goes up in days. Why is it? Because the most important work happens on the bottom, when the foundation is laid, – and this work seems to us long and subtle. If you will open your heart to the Word of God and will practise it, then you can be sure that God will do a serious work inside of you. Do not let Satan deceive you saying that nothing is changing in your life; that your efforts like going to church, reading the Bible, praying and so on have been futile. It is a pure lie.If you do all of this, then know that God is working inside of you. And when this inner work of laying the foundation will be over, the outward things will appear and rise very quickly. What seemed impossible will start happening so fast that you won’t be able to follow it up or keep a record of it fast enough. Most importantly, do not abort this inner work God is doing inside of you. If you want some ‘quick-fix changes’ without serious foundational work, then this outward things will erode quickly, because your ‘building’ will be without a solid foundation.Tomorrow we will finish talking about this topic.God bless you!Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

  • Worthy Goal for Life

Peace to you, my dear friends! I greet you on this wonderful day and pray for the Lord to help you in your walk and give you success in everything you will do today. Today I would like to start talking about „Worthy Goal for Life”.Every person has a goal, whether he talks about it or not. He is driven to do something. But if we talk about goals, it is important to determinewhether it is WORTHY or UNWORTHY.
  • Do not focus of what you do not have; simply go ahead and use what you have! II

God gives to us gifts according to our ability, so He does not call us to do the thigs we are not able to. If God has asked you to do something, it is only because He knows you are able to do it. He won’t give you more than you are able to bear. Simply use what you have.I once read a story about a woman who built a school for the needy. Before she began this, a desire was born in her heart to do it. It became her dream that she was thinking of consistently. At that moment she did not have a thing: no textbooks, no teachers, no building, and no money. But she did have a tremendous desire to fulfil her dream.
  • What we sow is what we reap

But it is also important to note that we reap a lot more than we sow. Without sowing we don’t reap at all. If you want to become great and bring fruit in the kingdom of God, if you desire for your life to have godly influence over other people, then you have to sow your life into others. There are no short cuts to greatness and true influence. It would be foolish to expect greatness, multiplication and fruitfulness without sowing. That would be deception!
  • God’s purpose for the earth and the role of people in it III

Today many people mostly emphasize different manifestations, anointing, gifts, talents and personal development. All of these things are important. But if we neglect the development of God’s character in us and do not make it a priority, if we forget to draw near to God and fellowship with Him, then we are doing not the will of God, but instead carrying out our own will. And as a result we are not able to bring glory to God.
  • What are the benefits of pain and suffering at the time?

Problems draw our attention faster than anything else.Problems can become a spiritual “alarm clock” from God. This is what Job (36:15) points out: “He delivers the poor in their affliction, and opens their ears in oppression”.In times of prosperity and abundance we hear God as whispering, but in times of pain and suffering we hear Him loud and clear. God has an ability to revive our attention towards His Word and His voice. That is why Solomon says that in times of abundance we should enjoy life, but in times of suffering we should think about our life.
  • What drives your life?

There are many things that drive people’s life, motivate them and influence their system of values. Many believers are driven by wrong motives today. In order to live strategically you definitely have to ask yourself these questions: “Why do I do what I do?”, “What are my secret motives?”, “What values influence my life?”, “What affects my decisions and my choice?”, “What is driving me in the spending of my money and time?”, “What drives my life?”
