Transformed person is a person with the right and pure motives

Welcome, dear friends! Praise the Lord for this wonderful day He gives to us! Thanks for another opportunity to fill our hearts with His living word!As we discussed, God wants us to have power that proves our godliness. Such power is the power of holiness. We are called to become an image of Christ by living in holiness and love. Pay attention to the following verse from Bible:
«who was declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord, …» (Romans 1:4).
Jesus revealed to us as the Son of God in supernatural power and power of holiness. Jesus demonstrated His supernatural, divine power. That power proved its superiority above any other power by resurrecting Jesus from death. In addition, the spirit of holiness was clearly visible in Jesus life, who lived without sin, so nobody could reproach Him for anything. These two facts prove Him as the Son of God.Sooner or later all hidden becomes visible. Everything a person has kept in secret will be revealed one day, and it might happen at the most uncomfortable moment. It´s better to put away your hypocrisy and seek the holy life before God, then we will not be ashamed to look into the eyes of people and approach the Lord. So, God calls us to change. Changing and growing-up is a process, therefore, we acknowledge we are imperfect yet. I type these daily messages to you not because I am already perfect. Vice verse, I realise I am still imperfect. I am not the only one aware of it, also God, my family members and friends, also my team mates know it. But thanks God for constantly transforming and improving us when we follow Jesus.Growing-up has its flow, therefore, a growing-up person never stops doing it, but moves farther and farther forward, away from the place he was before. Such person changes, by letting God´s power and His word to renew his mind. The way a growing person thinks is different to the way he used to think before, because following Jesus he sees the light and walks in this light, not in the darkness. When somebody, very familiar with you confirms your changes, then you have changed indeed. In opposite, if only those who don´t know you well say you have changed, beware not to cheat on yourself. A human used to show his best self on public. While at home each of us shows his real face. That´s why until your home mates begin to talk about what a different person you have become, you better not say you have already changed. So in order to hold the image of holiness we can experience and test the power of holiness. Let God change us, since He can do it and He wants it to happen. He also gives us power to accomplish those changes. Become a disciple of Christ, discipline yourself to follow Jesus. Let the word of God cleanse your motives!Transformed person is a person with the right and pure motives. Transformed person serves other people because he loves them, not in order to benefit from them. It makes me sad when I meet people who minister because it gives them a certain benefits. It´s awfully hard to change a person who has such motives. Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus was one of this kind. For three and a half years he had stayed with Jesus, but in no way it changed him, because he had sinister motives. Judas Iscariot was greedy, money loving man. Jesus put Judas in charge with financial part of His ministry, so he had access to money and offerings. First Judas began to steal money from their pay-box, later also betrayed his Master.
«Then Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, one of his disciples, who would betray him, said, “Why wasn’t this ointment sold for three hundred denarii, and given to the poor?” Now he said this, not because he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and having the money box, used to steal what was put into it». (John 12:4-6).

«Then one of the twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests, and said, “What are you willing to give me, that I should deliver him to you?” They weighed out for him thirty pieces of silver. From that time he sought opportunity to betray him». (Matthew 26:14-16).
Sinister motives and his love to money killed Judas at the end. If your attitude to money doesn´t change, it may ruin you. Allow God to transform you and cleanse your prayers, so that you can follow the way that leads you into life instead of perdition! Be abundantly blessed!Rufus Adjiboje, pastor

  • Preparation of the way of the Lord

Today I would like to talk to you about the preparation of the way of the Lord. The preparation of the way precedes the coming of the Lord. Our readiness to meet God determines the actual experience with God. If we are not ready, we will be left outside of what God is doing. But if we are adequately prepared, we will be qualified to experience the visitation of the Lord. Let’s look the Scripture.
  • God desires to give you true success

As we said before, a successful person is the one who knows what God wants him to do in his life and has dedicated his life for doing God’s will. Human success is not measured by his social status, banc accounts, and influence in society, popularity or fame in this world. True success is measured by how successful he has been in doing God’s will.Think about it today! God desires to give you true success that can be found in learning and doing God’s will for your life. You are the one who determines what to do with your life: either seeking temporary pleasure and enjoyment or seeking the eternal values of God’s Kingdom and His will for your life.
  • God’s desire for our faith not to be based on the wisdom of man, the wisdom of this age, but on the wisdom of God!

Only God’s wisdom is meant to bring us into the place of glory. The wisdom of God glorifies and exalts us. It is very important for us to open up our hearts and to receive God’s wisdom. Today we often hear about Chinese wisdom, Russian wisdom, Babylonian wisdom etc. But how wonderful it is that we have been given God’s wisdom! The wisdom of God is the highest form of wisdom for all the living. Only this wisdom is able to transform human life, changing it from within (from inside out). That is why God wants our faith to be based on His wisdom and not the wisdom of men.
  • When we obey God, then divine power is released to bring about the manifestation of all necessary intervention

The bible has this to say about obedience: “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land” (Isaiah 1: 19). Whether or not we will taste the blessings of the earth depends on our obedience.Marry told the attendants at marriage feast in Cana of Galilee: “Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it” (John 2: 5).
  • God wants prayer to become priority in the lives of His children!

Everything that devil has bound up in your life – your miracle, your promises, – can be released to you by the supernatural power of God. But for it to happen, prayer must become your number 1 priority.Take any Bible story and you will see what powerful prayer of believers is able to accomplish. For example, what did Daniel do when he was thrown into lions’ den? Did he pray? No, it was too late to pray. He had been praying long before he got to this point in his life. It is too late to pray when you are in a den with some lions. You must pray before anything like that happens! Daniel prayed three times a day every day.
  • Worthy Goal for Life II

Yesterday we started talking about our goals. Everyone has them. We discussed that there are worthy and less worthy goals. We also saw that after meeting Christ, Paul devoted his life to Him; earnest expectation of Christ to be glorified in his body and through his life became his main goal in life. It is very important to ascertain for ourselves what our goals are.You and I have been justified by faith in Jesus Christ and we have peace with God. But it is just the beginning. Having been reconciled with God is just the beginning of the Christian walk. What awaits us afterwards? Through faith we gain Access to God’s grace and we expect the glory of God to be progressively revealed in us and through us.
