What does God promises those people who seek His face

Greetings to all of you! Thank you for finding the time to read God’s message for today. His Word is alive and powerful. My desire is for you to fall in love with His Word and become doers of it. Today we will once again turn to the Bible to see what God promises those people who seek His face, hear His voice and are led by His Spirit.
« Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O LORD, in the light of Your countenance. In Your name they rejoice all day long, and in Your righteousness they are exaltedFor Your are the glory of their strength, and in Your favour our horn is exalted. For our shield belongs to the LORD, and our king to the Holy One of Israel. Then You spoke in a vision to Your holy one, and said: „I have given help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people. I have found My servant David; with My holy oil I have anointed him, with whom My hand shall be established; also My arm shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not outwit him, nor the son of wickedness afflict him. I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague those who hate him. But My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him, and in My name his horn shall be exalted. Also I will set his hand over the sea, and his right hand over the rivers. He shall cry to Me, ‘You are my Father, My God, and the rock of my salvation’. Also I will make him My firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth. My mercy I will keep for him forever, and My covenant shall stand firm with him. His seed also I will make to endure forever, and his throne as the days of heaven». Psalm (88:15-29)
This passage of Scripture tells us what God promises to the people who know and hear His voice: Þ         enlightment; Þ         exaltation; Þ         victory over enemies; Þ         protection; Þ         support.

«Give unto the LORD, O you mighty ones, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders; the LORD is over many waters. The voice of the LORD is powerfulthe voice of the LORD is full of majesty. The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars, yes, the LORD splinters the cedars of Lebanon. He makes them also skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox. The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fireThe voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness; the LORD shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh. The voice of the LORD makes the deer give birth, and strips the forests bare; and in His temple everyone says, “Glory!” The LORD sat enthroned at the Flood, and the LORD sits as King forever. The LORD will give strength to His people; the LORD will bless His people with peace». Psalm 29
Þ        When you hear God’s voice you will be strong. Þ        You will be able to easily break the strongholds of life. Þ        You will be able to walk through fiery tests and stay unharmed. Þ        You will be able to enjoy freedom from every burden. Þ        You will be able to enjoy peace in the midst of fear and confusion.
  1. John (8:12), Job (29:2-11)
Þ         When you hear form God He will pour His light over your life and you will be able to overcome all darkness. Þ         The secrets of the Lord will be revealed to you and you will be exalted. Job’s life is an example of this (see Job, 29: 2-11).

            God still speaks today!

It is a wonderful experience when a person tunes himself to hear God’s voice. It is more than hearing God today; it is hearing God every day. Such experience brings inner peace that shows outwardly. No money can buy this kind of peace! And, probably, the most terrible experience is for a person that is used to hearing God to lose that ability because of some sin or acts of disobedience. It is not just a great loss; it is what makes a person miserable.
«So Samuel said: „Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He also has rejected you from being king.”» (1 Samuel, 15:22-23).
If God talks to you, I pray for Him to keep doing it. But if you have lost this blessing, I pray for it to be restored as soon as possible. May God abundantly bless every one of you! Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

  • Your gift will make room for you! III

We have been talking about how all big things start small, whether it is a known person, great ministry, great accomplishments or great influence. It all starts when a person does what he can do and does it with all his might as unto the Lord with faith and consistency. When one has such attitude towards life he will have his or her reward from the Lord. Such a person will be blessed and exalted by God. His or her gift will make room for him or her in God’s overall picture and the Body of Christ.Person’s gift will make room for him and will bring him before great men, – this is on of the Bible principles; the Bible teaches about it and also it can be seen in the lives of the people in the Bible.
  • Lay hold on eternal life! II

«But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses» (1Timothy, 6:11-12).We say that these three things help us to lay hold on eternal life. We also established that eternal life has its beginning on earth when we get to know the only true God and His Son Jesus Christ.
  • The counselling IV

Let’s talk about another quality Jethro possessed: he did not pressure Moses to accept his advice. We can see in the Scripture, which I would like us to look at:«If you do this thing, and God so commands you, then you will be able to endure, and all this people will also go to their place in peace» (Exodus, 18:23).We can see here that Jethro did not demand Moses to accept his advice, but gave him a chance to make a choice himself. The phrase “if you do this thing” means that even if Moses did not listen to Jethro, he would not be upset. So he knew he could not take it personally if Moses chooses a different way.
  • The importance of favouring the Kingdom of God

The point is that favour can be sown not just in relation to other people, but also in relation to God and His work on the earth. Your attitude towards the work of the Kingdom will determine the level of Kingdom blessings operating in your life.«You will rise and have mercy of Zion; for the time to favour her, yes, the set time, has come. For Your servants take pleasure in her stones, and show favour to her dust So the nations shall fear the name of the Lord, and all the kings of the earth Your glory» (Psalm 102:13-15).
  • What we do with our potential?

A talent is almost the same as potential. The parable of talents could just as well be called the parable of potential. Potential is something unfinished that can be developed and completed. In the beginning potential can be invisible, but it nevertheless exists. In order to transform potential into reality, it must be developed. Based on the potential given to you, you can change your present condition. There is a beginning of change in you and everything you need to change your life. You have to develop your potential and bring it to completion.
  • How can we earn promotion? II

Who of you desires for God to be with you as the Partner at home, at work, and everywhere else? God wants it more than we do. But God can not deviate from His principles. Many believers deceive themselves thinking that God is with them, even though their life does not testify of it. It is a paradox. You may think that since God has promised to be with you and never to leave you or forsake you, He is indebted to be with you. It is also possible that God is with us, but not in a pleasant way. It is not about God; it is about how we live.
