What does God promises those people who seek His face
Greetings to all of you! Thank you for finding the time to read God’s message for today. His Word is alive and powerful. My desire is for you to fall in love with His Word and become doers of it. Today we will once again turn to the Bible to see what God promises those people who seek His face, hear His voice and are led by His Spirit.
« Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O LORD, in the light of Your countenance. In Your name they rejoice all day long, and in Your righteousness they are exalted. For Your are the glory of their strength, and in Your favour our horn is exalted. For our shield belongs to the LORD, and our king to the Holy One of Israel. Then You spoke in a vision to Your holy one, and said: „I have given help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people. I have found My servant David; with My holy oil I have anointed him, with whom My hand shall be established; also My arm shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not outwit him, nor the son of wickedness afflict him. I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague those who hate him. But My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him, and in My name his horn shall be exalted. Also I will set his hand over the sea, and his right hand over the rivers. He shall cry to Me, ‘You are my Father, My God, and the rock of my salvation’. Also I will make him My firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth. My mercy I will keep for him forever, and My covenant shall stand firm with him. His seed also I will make to endure forever, and his throne as the days of heaven». Psalm (88:15-29)
This passage of Scripture tells us what God promises to the people who know and hear His voice: Þ enlightment; Þ exaltation; Þ victory over enemies; Þ protection; Þ support.«Give unto the LORD, O you mighty ones, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders; the LORD is over many waters. The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars, yes, the LORD splinters the cedars of Lebanon. He makes them also skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox. The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire. The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness; the LORD shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh. The voice of the LORD makes the deer give birth, and strips the forests bare; and in His temple everyone says, “Glory!” The LORD sat enthroned at the Flood, and the LORD sits as King forever. The LORD will give strength to His people; the LORD will bless His people with peace». Psalm 29
Þ When you hear God’s voice you will be strong. Þ You will be able to easily break the strongholds of life. Þ You will be able to walk through fiery tests and stay unharmed. Þ You will be able to enjoy freedom from every burden. Þ You will be able to enjoy peace in the midst of fear and confusion.- John (8:12), Job (29:2-11)
