Why God does speaks to us and why is it so important for us to learn to hear His voice?

Good morning, dear friends!

I thank God for another opportunity to share with you the word of wisdom from our Father God. We have already realised that God is alive and He speaks. We also saw all the advantages and privileges available to the people who have learned to hear and follow the instructions of God.

Let’s now sum up all that we have been talking about for so long.

So why God does speaks to us and why is it so important for us to learn to hear His voice?

  1. To give us revelation about God (about Himself).

First of all, God will speak to us in order to reveal the truth about Himself. If we fail to hear the voice of God we will never get Him to know well enough to become His friends.

«Now Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro, his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the back of the wilderness, and came to God’s mountain, to Horeb. The angel of Yahweh appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. Moses said, I will turn aside now, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. When Yahweh saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the midst of the bush, and said, “Moses!Moses!” He said, “Here I am.” He said, “Don’t come close. Take off your sandals from off your feet, for the place you are standing on is holy ground.” Moreover he said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look at God.». (Exodus 3:1-6).

God introduced Himself to know Moses so as to reveal Himself to Moses. Moses would have never become such wonderful favourite, friend and servant of God without getting to know God personally. It’s impossible to get to know God without fellowship with Him. Fellowship, in turn, is impossible until you learn to hear God. That’s why the Bible says we are called to have fellowship with Him. We need to learn to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit, so that we can have fellowship with God.

«that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us. Yes, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son, Jesus Christ.». (1st John 1:3).

By hearing God’s voice we get to know God deeper, thus becoming His friends.

«God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord». (1st Corinthians 1:9).

We all are called to have fellowship with the Father and the Son, Jesus Christ. Are you asking yourself the question: “What is my calling?” You need to understand, that fellowship with God is your first and foremost calling. It’s very important to understand, that you should seek the voice of the Holy Spirit not only when you need God to solve your problem or to help you make the right choice. The first reason to seek the voice of the Holy Spirit is so that you can get to know God and learn to fellowship with Him. God will speak to us, because He desires to have fellowship with us. Having learned to hear His voice we enjoy full-fledged fellowship with Him.

First of all, God saved us for the purpose of having fellowship with Him.

So we have to understand that the first reason why we have must learn hearing God’s voice is to have healthy fellowship with God, because that’s what God has created us for. We can hardly understand God if we can’t hear His voice. Without understanding Him we won’t be able to love and worship Him in the proper way either. When two people are in love with each other, they enjoy sharing their thoughts, experience, joy and sorrows with each other. They open their hearts before each other to share their deepest secrets. The Bible says God also have some secrets He wants to share with His children.

« The friendship of Yahweh is with those who fear him. He will show them his covenant». (Psalms 25:14).

« Surely the Lord Yahweh will do nothing, unless he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets». (Amos 3:7).

God desires to become your Friend. God desires to reveal His secrets to you, so through them you can experience breakthrough and exaltation in your life. My challenge for you today is to delight in becoming a friend of God, begin to seek His face, get to know His word and have fellowship with Him!

God bless you abundantly!

Prayer is a very important and necessary part of our spiritual life and can be compared to breathing, which is vital for our physical life. In other words, prayer is our spiritual breathing. The one who is not breathing is not alive. In the very same way, prayer is what makes us alive in spiritual sense. Thus, without prayer we are spiritually dead. This year we have talked a lot about serving God, and it is very important as well. We need to serve God! We need to serve people! But we will never be effective in our ministry to God and people without effective prayer.Remember it!

  • Preparation is a key to effective life

In reality, effective life is impossible without appropriate preparation. Jesus solved the question of effectiveness by preparing Himself for the ministry. There is almost no information about what Jesus had been doing during the first 30 years of His life. Gospels tell us the story about His ministry. Meanwhile, we need to understand that prior to starting His ministry Jesus had been seriously preparing himself for quite a long time.

  • Piety

Many people have learned to call upon the name of God, but they do not have a slightest idea of the fear of the Lord. It is very important to understand that our provision depends not only on our ability to call upon God, but also on the level of the fear of God in our lives. My lifestyle is what determines the power of my prayers. Anyone who calls upon God must also fear God, – and that is what it means to call upon God in truth.«The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth» (Psalm, 145: 18).

We have to apply our gifts. We must find for ourselves a place in church, in God’s Kingdom. Your barrenness is nobody’s fault, but yours. Learn to apply your talents and do it well. • The law of multiplication

If we have seed and sow it in good ground, then we will definitely see a harvest. Seed will grow. Sown seed first gives blade, then head and then grain in the head. Multiplication and growth always imply process. It is unavoidable if we want to receive harvest. We just have to do our part. First, that we have to understand in order to receive harvest is that we need some seed. The truth is that we already have seed. If you want to see multiplication in some area of your life you should know that you already have seed from God.

  • Faith without love is not biblical faith!

If you have faith, but do not have love, then, according to Paul, you are “sounding brass and a clanging cymbal” and you are “nothing”. Faith without love does not work. That is why it is so important to learn to walk in love. Otherwise our hearts won’t be able to go through the last day attacks. Faith will not work without love! What are you going to do when people will hate, persecute and hurt you? Will you get offended and look for the ways to pay them back and do evil? That is the reaction of flesh; that is the reaction of a natural man.
