What does God promises those people who seek His face

 Greetings to all of you! Thank you for finding the time to read God’s message for today. His Word is alive and powerful. My desire is for you to fall in love with His Word and become doers of it. Today we will once again turn to the Bible to see what God promises those people who seek His face, hear His voice and are led by His Spirit.  
« Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O LORD, in the light of Your countenance. In Your name they rejoice all day long, and in Your righteousness they are exalted. For Your are the glory of their strength, and in Your favour our horn is exalted. For our shield belongs to the LORD, and our king to the Holy One of Israel. Then You spoke in a vision to Your holy one, and said: „I have given help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people. I have found My servant David; with My holy oil I have anointed him, with whom My hand shall be established; also My arm shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not outwit him, nor the son of wickedness afflict him. I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague those who hate him. But My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him, and in My name his horn shall be exalted. Also I will set his hand over the sea, and his right hand over the rivers. He shall cry to Me, ‘You are my Father, My God, and the rock of my salvation’. Also I will make him My firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth. My mercy I will keep for him forever, and My covenant shall stand firm with him. His seed also I will make to endure forever, and his throne as the days of heaven». Psalm (88:15-29)
              This passage of Scripture tells us what God promises to the people who know and hear His voice: Þ         enlightment; Þ         exaltation; Þ         victory over enemies; Þ         protection; Þ         support. 

 
 «Give unto the LORD, O you mighty ones, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders; the LORD is over many waters. The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars, yes, the LORD splinters the cedars of Lebanon. He makes them also skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox. The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire. The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness; the LORD shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh. The voice of the LORD makes the deer give birth, and strips the forests bare; and in His temple everyone says, “Glory!” The LORD sat enthroned at the Flood, and the LORD sits as King forever. The LORD will give strength to His people; the LORD will bless His people with peace». Psalm 29
 Þ        When you hear God’s voice you will be strong. Þ        You will be able to easily break the strongholds of life. Þ        You will be able to walk through fiery tests and stay unharmed. Þ        You will be able to enjoy freedom from every burden. Þ        You will be able to enjoy peace in the midst of fear and confusion. 
  1. John (8:12), Job (29:2-11)     
 Þ         When you hear form God He will pour His light over your life and you will be able to overcome all darkness. Þ         The secrets of the Lord will be revealed to you and you will be exalted. Job’s life is an example of this (see Job, 29: 2-11). 

            God still speaks today!

             It is a wonderful experience when a person tunes himself to hear God’s voice. It is more than hearing God today; it is hearing God every day. Such experience brings inner peace that shows outwardly. No money can buy this kind of peace! And, probably, the most terrible experience is for a person that is used to hearing God to lose that ability because of some sin or acts of disobedience. It is not just a great loss; it is what makes a person miserable. 
«So Samuel said: „Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He also has rejected you from being king.”» (1 Samuel, 15:22-23).
 If God talks to you, I pray for Him to keep doing it. But if you have lost this blessing, I pray for it to be restored as soon as possible. May God abundantly bless every one of you! Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

    Going through the most difficult ordeal in His life, when Jesus heart was internally struggling whether to accept or to reject God´s will, He proved with His own example that we have to always choose God´s will even if it requires us to go through pain and sufferings.«My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me; nevertheless, not what I desire, but what you desire.» (Matthew 26:39).« … Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.» (Luke 22:42)

  • Walk in the light and do not give place to the devil! III

    If we walk in the ways of the Lord and guard our ways, then God will give us authority to rule, command and walk among angels. If we will walk in the ways of God and receive the lordship of Jesus Christ, we will be able effectively hinder the work of the devil in our lives and the lives of the people around us.Satan will never be able to dispute the fact that Jesus Christ is Lord. But if we are unclean before the Lord, then the devil can dispute the reality of this truth in our lives and oppose us.

  • Without the Holy Spirit we are not able to manifest God in our lives

    1) Jesus gave some commandments to the Apostles BY THE HOLY SPIRIT (verse 2).Jesus Himself relied on the Holy Spirit in everything He did during His days in flesh. When He took on flesh, He was limited by it and He needed the Holy Spirit. As people we live in flesh and we also are limited by it. The only way for us to overcome these limitations is to rely on the Holy Spirit. We must be aware of the necessity and our dependency on the Holy Spirit. We must seek Him daily.

  • Why do people run away from being accountable?

    1. Fear of rejection. Many people are afraid of others rejecting or despising them when they find out all the truth. Biblical accountability is fulfilment of the law of Christ which tells us to express our care for the others in the spirit of humility: «Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ» (Galatians, 6:1-2).

  • Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth

    “Put to death your body”- means letting the resurrected life that dwells in you spring its roots. By feeding our old sinful nature we strengthen it and as a result of this the sinful nature prevails the resurrected life inside us. In opposite, when thinking about things that are above ans seeking those things we enable ourselves to celebrate a victory over sin and the old nature.Quite often, when somebody hears that he has to put his body to death he says to himself: “I can´t do it!” This is the voice of your old nature. Though, let me share the good news with you – the Bible says, when Christ reveals Himself so will you in His glory, and your new life will be transformed into abundant life. If we have fellowship with God, seek things that are above and reason about Him, then Christ will definitely reveal Himself in our life.
