When we pray, invisible chains that bind people suddenly fall off!

Greetings to you in the name of Jesus Christ! I pray for the mercy and grace of the LORD to be multiplied this day in your life. I wish this day to be successful for you and filled with the glory of the LORD!All this time we have been talking about the importance of prayer and about the things that happen in the life of a person that has made prayer the main priority in his or her life. If prayer becomes a priority in your life, your life will show signs of obvious favour from God and men. But every person must taste it for himself; it is not enough to hear about it. It is through prayer that we can experience the goodness of God. It strengthens our relationship with God. It helps us to have confidence in God despite the circumstances. I am sure that my God is good, because I have personally experienced it. I have tasted His goodness through prayer.I recommend you to read Acts 12. You will see what happens when prayer is a priority in life. This chapter tells us about the time when Jacob was killed and Peter was thrown into prison. Herod wanted to kill Peter as well. And what did the church do at that time? They prayed – as they always did and as they knew to do. Prayer was a priority for the early church. So the Bible says:
«Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church» (Acts, 12:5).
God called His people to pray. The church was in constant prayer on behalf of Peter. Peter was sleeping at the time, even though they were planning to execute him in 2 days. How could he sleep? He knew the church was praying. Peter’s heart was filled with the peace of God; he was not worried or panicking. When we pray, our hearts are filled with peace despite the circumstances. What happened next? While Peter was sleeping, an angel showed up in his prison cell. When we pray, we witness supernatural occurrences that are unexplainable and unexpected; they are signs of God’s intervention in our situation. When we pray, God sends His angels to help us and to minister to us. An angel came to Peter and this is what happened next:
“Now behold, an angel of the LORD stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, “Arise quickly!” And his chains fell off his hands” (Acts, 12:7).
The chains feel off Peters hands by themselves. When we pray, invisible chains that bind people suddenly fall off. God wants to deliver you from possible bondages. He wants deliver other people through you – through your prayers.
“Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good! “ (Psalm, 34:8).

  • Dedication precedes provision

God is always good, and He will never change in this sense. God is always powerful. God changes His strength for my weakness. God always has blessings for every one of us. The unchanging God can change you. You can always come to God – in any situation – and He will change you and your circumstances. All of us need provision, because we all have needs in different areas of our life: finances, health, wisdom for making decisions etc.
  • Each of us is responsible for what we become in life

Taking responsibility for decisions we make in life, no matter what the circumstances are that lead us to these decisions, is one of the most important lessons that we can learn in this life.Human research shows that men and women for different reasons try to escape responsibility for what they are, and they blame other people for their failures.
  • Purpose for living II

Let’s look at the steps that Solomon took in order to find the meaning of life. We will see what conclusions Solomon came to. The first thing Solomon turned to was acquiring of wisdom and knowledge. «I communed with my heart, saying, „Look, I have attained greatness, and have gained more wisdom than all who were before me in Jerusalem. My heart has understood great wisdom and knowledge.” And I set my heart to know wisdom and to know madness and folly. I perceived that this also is grasping for the wind. For in much wisdom is much grief, and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow» (Ecclesiastes, 1:16-18).
  • How can we experience God in our life?

The God´s mercy is renewed for us this morning. The Bible says: «Let everything that has breath praise Yah!» (Psalm 150:6). If you can breath today – it´s a mercy of the Lord and a sufficient reason to praise and thank Him.Today I would like to begin a new topic called “How can we experience God in our life?” Studying the Bible we see God doing great feats through many people. He was able to realise His intentions using those people just due to their revelation and understanding of God´s key principles. While living in the different times, educated on a different level, belonged to the different cultures all Bible heroes basically have something in common. The secret of the success and feats they had is obvious – they knew God and interacted with Him. They experienced God´s power and His mercy in their lives. How did they succeeded? It became possible because they dedicated themselves to God. That´s exactly what God is inviting us to do.
  • How to enter your ministry?

Yesterday we started discussing how we can enter our ministry. We established that, first; we need a strong desire to serve. This desire is tied to our understanding of God’s will and the purpose of our salvation. As we talked about, ministry helps us to reveal our potential. Ministry helps us to find out about ourselves, our calling in the establishment of God’s Kingdom on earth and doing the works that are pleasing to God. God has predestined for us to do particular good works. God desires for us to be fruitful and glorify Him on earth. Through our ministry God wants to fill this earth with the knowledge of Him and His Kingdom. He wants us to establish His principles in every sphere of life and win people for Him by the ministry we do on earth.
  • The lordship of Jesus Christ II

«The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” The LORD shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies» (Psalm 110:1-2).This passage talks about Christ: «Rule in the midst of Your enemies», but the Body of Christ — His Church — is included in this prophetic word. Jesus was told to sit at the right hand of God; but it would be God’s children that would overcome God’s enemies and every thing that rise against the will of God. God wants us to rule and reign in the midst of the enemies and unfavourable circumstances. We must rule because we have been given God’s authority and we were born conquerors.
