The importance of our faithfulness to God

I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ and pray that mercy and grace of the Lord be multiplied unto you this day.We talked about God’s desire for us to be those who expand His Kingdom on this earth. God is very serious about the fulfillment of His will on earth as it is in heaven, about the establishment of His Kingdom here on the earth. We also talked about the fact that if we want to take part in spreading God’s Kingdom we must take the position of overcomers in Christ. Yesterday we briefly examined some instruments that we can use to walk in victory over our enemies. We named three things: the power of the blood of Christ, the power of our testimony and the commitment to God.Today I would like to discuss the importance of our faithfulness to God. Let’s turn to the Word of God:
«The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they will receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. They are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful» (Revelation, 17:12-14).
This passage has a very deep meaning. The process of spreading God’s Kingdom gets us involved in a cruel war. The enemy mobilizes a powerful and united army to cast down the influence of God’s Kingdom in all the areas of society. The satanic army will make war with the Lamb by fighting His Body – the Church. The enemy will fight the believers, committed disciples of Jesus Christ. This war is already going on, and you and I are in the very middle of the fights. We can feel it in our lives and in our country. But I would not like you to just think about the war; think rather about the end results of the war. In his spirit John saw the results of the war – the Lamb overcame the army of the enemy. Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords, and as such He will never lose! I think none of us has any doubts or questions about His victory. But you should really see that His victory is not only based on Him being the King and the Lord, but also on the faithfulness of the people with Him. Together with His faithful saints, the Lamb has the victory.
«.. and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful» (Revelation, 17:14).
In order to join the army of victors in Christ Jesus, it is important for us to be qualified in these three areas: in your calling, in being a chosen vessel, and in faithfulness. Tomorrow we will talk about it in detail, but today I’d like you to see that the war is inescapable, and in this war God counts on His called, chosen, and faithful people. Are you going to be a part of God’s army that is involved in the war in which the victory of the Lamb is already guaranteed? Are you going to take part in the victory of the Lord so that His Kingdom can penetrate all the spheres of our society?Make a firm decision today to be a part of God’s army. Realize that we already have the victory, and that is the position we fight from.Until tomorrow!Be blessed!Pastor Rufus Ajiboy

  • Searching for the meaning of life III

We have been talking about search for the meaning of life. We are using the life of Solomon, the son of David as our example. Solomon was the wisest person on earth. We saw that in the beginning of his life Solomon obtained wisdom and riches, because he loved God and knew Him. But there came a time in his life, when he forsook God and followed other gods. At that time Solomon tried to satisfy his soul with different things; he looked for happiness in different places. Eventually, Solomon realized that it is impossible to be happy and satisfied in this life without God.
  • How to enter your ministry?

If a person doesn’t have any desire to serve, it is very difficult to motivate him. This desire has to be strong enough to move you to action; otherwise you won’t do anything. It is easy to teach and lead a person that has a desire and an interest in something. And it is very difficult to convince and motivate the one who is indifferent. Where does the desire to serve come from? This desire comes from the understanding of God’s will and the purpose of our salvation.
  • Through prayer we invite God to take part in our lives

God does not come into our lives without being asked. Praying means to invite God to come and help us. It is a realization of the fact that I am weak and there is One Who is stronger than me, Who loves me and cares for me. Prayer is an invitation to the One Who is stronger than me and my circumstances.Do you remember Jairus? We read about him in Mark (5:22-23). He had sent his people to Jesus to invite Him to his house, because his daughter was on the verge of death.
  • Apart from Him there is no true satisfaction and happiness! III

We will continue about Solomon’s search for happiness, satisfaction and the meaning of life. We have already discussed that in the beginning of his life Solomon sought God and loved him, and God gave him wisdom and riches, happiness and fulfilment in life. But Solomon got caught up with superficial things of this world and started to follow other gods. Solomon started seeking for happiness and satisfaction in things and activities. He found only disappointment in them and then he turned back to his beginning. The story of Solomon is a lesson to all of us; it tells us that the meaning of life, happiness and satisfaction cannot be found anywhere but in God alone. So we need to develop and strengthen personal relationships with God.
  • How to enter your ministry

Today I would like to talk to you about how to enter your ministry. Let’s look at the things that are required to enter one’s ministry.First, you have to have a desire to serve.“This is a faithful saying: if a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work” (1 Timothy, 3:1).
  • Only those who seek will find

You will find out what is there in you if you get diligent about seeking it out. Only those who seek will find. For example, many people only see problems. Don’t look for problems and don’t talk about them; focus on the solutions. Train your heart and your mind to find answers and solutions for different problems. As soon as you see a problem, start thinking about possible solutions for it. Start meditating on possible ways to solve it, and God will give multiple ideas for serving people.
