The importance of our faithfulness to God

I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ and pray that mercy and grace of the Lord be multiplied unto you this day.

We talked about God’s desire for us to be those who expand His Kingdom on this earth. God is very serious about the fulfillment of His will on earth as it is in heaven, about the establishment of His Kingdom here on the earth. We also talked about the fact that if we want to take part in spreading God’s Kingdom we must take the position of overcomers in Christ. Yesterday we briefly examined some instruments that we can use to walk in victory over our enemies. We named three things: the power of the blood of Christ, the power of our testimony and the commitment to God.

Today I would like to discuss the importance of our faithfulness to God. Let’s turn to the Word of God:

«The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they will receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. They are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful» (Revelation, 17:12-14).

This passage has a very deep meaning. The process of spreading God’s Kingdom gets us involved in a cruel war. The enemy mobilizes a powerful and united army to cast down the influence of God’s Kingdom in all the areas of society. The satanic army will make war with the Lamb by fighting His Body – the Church. The enemy will fight the believers, committed disciples of Jesus Christ.

This war is already going on, and you and I are in the very middle of the fights. We can feel it in our lives and in our country. But I would not like you to just think about the war; think rather about the end results of the war. In his spirit John saw the results of the war – the Lamb overcame the army of the enemy. Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords, and as such He will never lose! I think none of us has any doubts or questions about His victory.

But you should really see that His victory is not only based on Him being the King and the Lord, but also on the faithfulness of the people with Him. Together with His faithful saints, the Lamb has the victory.

«.. and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful» (Revelation, 17:14).

In order to join the army of victors in Christ Jesus, it is important for us to be qualified in these three areas: in your calling, in being a chosen vessel, and in faithfulness. Tomorrow we will talk about it in detail, but today I’d like you to see that the war is inescapable, and in this war God counts on His called, chosen, and faithful people.

Are you going to be a part of God’s army that is involved in the war in which the victory of the Lamb is already guaranteed? Are you going to take part in the victory of the Lord so that His Kingdom can penetrate all the spheres of our society?

Make a firm decision today to be a part of God’s army. Realize that we already have the victory, and that is the position we fight from.

Until tomorrow!

Be blessed!

Spirit of competition .Some people are moved by the desire to prove to others what they can do. Those that are moved by this spirit can’t be still if they see someone else doing better than them. These people continually try to prove something to others, because they compare themselves to others all the time. They live according to someone else’s schedule since they do not have their own. The word of God said this is a wrong attitude:

  • I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me!

According to the word of God we are already granted everything we need in order to succeed in this life. God has already given us all that we need to have life abundantly. There is no such need in our life God has not taken care for yet. We only have to get to know God and His precious promises, so that we can prevail the lust of this world and fulfil our call from God.«Seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue; by which he has granted to us his precious and exceedingly great promises; that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust.». • Prayer is petitioning God and receiving from Him II

Prayer is one of the ways to find out the will of God. Why did Jesus say that He did nothing but what He saw His Father do? Why did Jesus pray? Why did He do what He did? Because He sought the will of God in prayer and received the revelation of God’s will.Let’s look at Moses. God gave Moses the law; God told him to deal with the nation according to it. But while the nation of Israel was in desert Moses faced different situation that were not described in the law.

  • We must walk not only before God, but also before people God has set as overseers in our lives

I must note that ‘accountability group’ (small group, home group) is not the place where you only share your problems or weaknesses. Of course, accountability implies all of it. But if we only do that, then there is no time for instruction or feed-back, and then this group can turn into a place of gossip and slandering.Accountability group or Christian fellowship is the place of learning where we all strive to be more like Jesus. We do it through questions and answers, Bible study, prayer; we listen to each other and support each other.

  • The wisdom of repentance

We do not confess our sins to the Lord it affects our blessings. In the Scripture above it says that „for day and night Your hand was heavy upon me…” Heaviness of the Lord’s hand – it is not a sign of blessing; it is a sign of curse. An unrepentant life takes away an opportunity to move forward in any area of our lives. When we refuse to repent we lose vitality and power and drought comes instead. Vitality is a sign of a blessing, prosperity, but drought is a sign of curse. According to the Bible, in order for us to flourish and prosper and to gain riches we must have vitality or power (Deuteronomy, 8:18). The lack of repentance in a person’s life deprives him of this power.

We do not confess our sins to the Lord it affects our blessings. In the Scripture above it says that „for day and...

  • Analyze your work and your days!

If we don’t learn to stop like God did to analyze what we are doing and where we are going, then we might end up in a totally different place, not at the intended destination, and we might get something we did not plan to get. It is so easy to get distracted, to get involved into all kinds of entertainment and futile things; that is why we need to stop once in a while to check and analyze what is happening in our lives, whether it is good or bad, should it be changed or not, is the direction of our lives right and good.

If we don’t learn to stop like God did to analyze what we are doing and where we are going, then we might end up...
