All true ministry begins in the presence of God

Hello Friends! Isn’t it true that we are all called to serve God with our gifts and abilities? I hope you have answered this call for your life. Your fruitfulness and your fulfillment depend on serving God through your gifts, talents, and ability. Your reward in heaven will be affected by that as well. However, today I want to emphasize once again that all true ministry begins in the presence of God. As we spend time with and draw near to Him consistently in prayer, worship and the study of His word, we will be guided and led into the perfect will of God. Jesus, the Author and the Finisher of our faith, laid that example before us when He said:
“Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working.” 18For this reason the Jews tried all the harder to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.  19Jesus gave them this answer: “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. 20For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, to your amazement he will show him even greater things than these” (John 5: 17-20).
Jesus was doing the work of his Father because he recognized the ongoing work of his Father already in process. Jesus is saying here that as long as the Father is still working we have to keep working. However, He emphasized here that we cannot serve God well unless we know what He wants us to do or understand how He wants us to approach our assignment. In other words, Jesus claimed no independent action whatsoever. He declared, “…the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing.”The only way to see what the Father is doing is to spend time with the Father. If you don’t want to just go about doing your own things in your own way, please follow the example of Jesus. Place yourself in a place where you can receive the love of God and allow Him to show you what He is doing now around you, so that you can join Him in His works.This is God’s word for you today!     The way that Jesus will lead us on won’t always be smooth and easy. The Bible tells us that Jesus Himself endured the hostility, the cross and the shame. It means that Jesus will also lead us through the valleys of death and tears; this way is not pleasant and desired, but it is good for us, because God only knows what we need. The disciples followed Jesus not only when He spoke pleasantries, but also when He rebuked or corrected them. They followed Him even when they did not understand the true meaning of His words. The simply trusted His wisdom.

    It is not hard to love God – simply think about Him, think about what He does for you every day, and your natural response will be gratefulness. Worshipping God will become a natural thing for those who think about Him and His works. God loves you very much. But, if you live and at the same time do not think about Him, do not see what He does for you, it is hard for you to sacrifice; particularly – it is hard for you to sacrifice your busy daily schedule, your finances, your time, your comfort, because you do not think about Him.
