All true ministry begins in the presence of God II

Greetings to you in the Name of Jesus! Today I want to continue our talk on starting ministry in the presence of God. Yesterday we saw the example of Lord Jesus Christ Himself, but today we are going to see the example of prophet Isaiah. The classic example of prophet Isaiah is another strong illustration that shows us how effective ministry must begin in the presence of God. The prophet went into the temple to worship. In other words, he drew near to God and entered into the presence of God. As soon as he did, a few things happened that I would like us to look into diligently: The first thing that happened is that Isaiah saw the glory of God and heard the Cherubim declaring through song how the whole earth is filled with the Glory of God;
“In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory” (Isaiah 6: 1-3).
Even though in the natural, things looked terribly different, Isaiah was able to see God’s perspective. One of the reasons ministry needs to start in the presence of God is this: As you draw near to God, you will be enabled to walk by faith instead of just walking by sight.We are instructed to live like that in 2 Corinthians 5:7
“We live by faith, not by sight”
How is that possible? We receive the power to do that as we regularly spend time in the presence of God. We will look at what people call problems, but instead of seeing what they are seeing, we will see possibilities. When you spend time with God, He allows you to see things from a glorious perspective instead of a disastrous perspective.Spend some time in God’s presence today and allow Him to show you His own perspective about that problem you have been battling recently. That is God’s word for you today!God bless you Pastor Rufus Ajiboy

    Let’s look at the steps that Solomon took in order to find the meaning of life. We will see what conclusions Solomon came to. The first thing Solomon turned to was acquiring of wisdom and knowledge. «I communed with my heart, saying, „Look, I have attained greatness, and have gained more wisdom than all who were before me in Jerusalem. My heart has understood great wisdom and knowledge.” And I set my heart to know wisdom and to know madness and folly. I perceived that this also is grasping for the wind. For in much wisdom is much grief, and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow» (Ecclesiastes, 1:16-18).
  • Walk in the light and do not give place to the devil!

    The measure of our understanding about importance of the lordship of Jesus Christ will determine the level of victory in our lives. No victory is possible without the lordship of Jesus Christ. Only the person that allows Jesus Christ to be his or her Lord can truly walk in His victory.Today I would like to give you several illustrations of how, based on the understanding of the lordship of Jesus Christ, we gain protection from all the purposes of the devil. Let’s look into the Bible.

  • Changes always come from praying! III

    During the past few days we have been talking about the idea of a person being the main initiator of the miracles he needs in his life. In order for God to be able to do something supernatural in the individual’s life this individual must create the natural platform or foundation for this miracle. When you mix your distress with prayer, then the miracle will surely happen and you will have true and undisputable proof of God’s miracle and His supernatural intervention.
  • Never be stopped by problems!

    Satan wants to hit our spirit via hardships, trials and problems. When your spirit is strengthened, you can overcome any kind of weakness, get through all kind of hardships and trials. So how can we strengthen our spirit? God´s word and His promises strengthen our spirit and overcome weakness and sufferings. In order to not give up, we need to learn how to lean on the word of God and His promises – fully and unconditionally. We have to learn God´s faithfulness and realise that God will never forsake us unless we abandon Him ourselves.
