All true ministry begins in the presence of God II

Greetings to you in the Name of Jesus! Today I want to continue our talk on starting ministry in the presence of God. Yesterday we saw the example of Lord Jesus Christ Himself, but today we are going to see the example of prophet Isaiah. The classic example of prophet Isaiah is another strong illustration that shows us how effective ministry must begin in the presence of God. The prophet went into the temple to worship. In other word, he drew near to God and enters into the presence of God. As soon as he did, few things happened that I will like us to look into diligently: The first thing that happened is that Isaiah saw the glory of God and heard the Cherubim declaring through song how the whole earth is filled with the Glory of God;
“In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory” (Isaiah 6: 1-3).
Even though in the natural, things looked terribly different, Isaiah was able to see God’s perspective. One of the reasons ministry need to start in the presence of God is this: As you draw near to God, you will be enabled to walk by faith instead of just walking by sight.We are instructed to live like that in 2Corithian 5: 7
“We live by faith, not by sight”
How is that possible? we receive the power to do that as we regularly spend time in the presence of God. We will look at what people call problems, but instead of seeing what they are seeing, we will see possibilities. When you spend time with God, He allows you to see things from a glorious perspective instead of a disastrous perspective.Spend some time in God presence today and allow Him to show you His own perspective about that problem you have been battling recently.     When things go fine and when God answers our prayers, it is easy to thank God, – at those times we thank God and adore Him. But as soon as God decides to answer us in a way that does not fit our plans, we start thinking whether there is any sense in prayer. The Bible calls us to thank God in everything. The Bible calls us to praise God aloud so that other people would hear it. Be grateful to God, praise him, and sing to Him – aloud! Thanksgiving is the very model of prayer that Jesus gave to His disciples.

    God has created us in His image and likeness, and He made us to be His children and He has separated us for Himself. God brought us into His wonderful light, into His Kingdom – through Jesus Christ! God has created us in Christ Jesus for good works, which He has ordained for us to do! This is alone is enough to give us a reason to be greatful to God. None of us deserve all these benefits, but God – because of His great love for us – has done all of these things for us in Jesus Christ. And God gave every one of us gifts and talents, so that we could expand His Kingdom and serve Him with His talents. God promises to bless us abundantly as we work and serve in His Kingdom.

    God has set particular order in His Kingdom; there are some principles that the Kingdom of God is based on: humble people open for themselves the grace of walking in the fear of the Lord and they experience riches, honour and full life from God, – the Word of God says so. Prideful and haughty sooner or later are humbled and their life is filled with falls and destruction.If we desire God’s promotion we need to walk in humility and obedience to God. So many people after they get promoted become unapproachable, unsociable, and haughty.

  • The true Christian life is a call to manifest God in our lives

    «Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marvelled» (Acts, 4:13).The first disciples of Jesus had spent time with Jesus and that reflected in their attitude to life,- they manifested God’s character through their lives. They were brave and bold for God; they boldly spoke of God, and testify of Him because they had spent time in the Father’s bosom.
