All true ministry begins in the presence of God II

Greetings to you in the Name of Jesus! Today I want to continue our talk on starting ministry in the presence of God. Yesterday we saw the example of Lord Jesus Christ Himself, but today we are going to see the example of prophet Isaiah. The classic example of prophet Isaiah is another strong illustration that shows us how effective ministry must begin in the presence of God. The prophet went into the temple to worship. In other words, he drew near to God and entered into the presence of God. As soon as he did, a few things happened that I would like us to look into diligently: The first thing that happened is that Isaiah saw the glory of God and heard the Cherubim declaring through song how the whole earth is filled with the Glory of God;
“In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory” (Isaiah 6: 1-3).
Even though in the natural, things looked terribly different, Isaiah was able to see God’s perspective. One of the reasons ministry needs to start in the presence of God is this: As you draw near to God, you will be enabled to walk by faith instead of just walking by sight.We are instructed to live like that in 2 Corinthians 5:7
“We live by faith, not by sight”
How is that possible? We receive the power to do that as we regularly spend time in the presence of God. We will look at what people call problems, but instead of seeing what they are seeing, we will see possibilities. When you spend time with God, He allows you to see things from a glorious perspective instead of a disastrous perspective.Spend some time in God’s presence today and allow Him to show you His own perspective about that problem you have been battling recently.     If you want God to exalt you, you need to love God and love people. God exalts the loving hearts. Love God and love your neighbour – these are two main commandments. All of your knowledge won’t bring any results, if you forget these two most important commandments. You probably have noticed that God does not answer all prayers. There are some prayers that God does not pay attention to; it happens when we break two most important commandments – to love God and to love your neighbour. Love towards God and people around you are the very power that must rule us and lead us through life. Love towards God and people that is demonstrated in deeds and not in words brings us to the place where promotion from God is possible.

    If you arm yourself with the knowledge that problems and trials are a test to all of us, and once it´s passed we receive a certain reward from God, then a holy desire to win given by God will be awaken within you. None of you is born willing to be a loser in this life. We all desire to win, but no win where is no battle. For the problems and trials are those battles we either get defeated or celebrate the victory at. Going through hardships and pain in our life, we better understand the price, Jesus paid for our salvation. «…you are partakers of Christ’s sufferings…».

    One of proofs of your love for God is to love those whom He loves. You know that God loves the Church of Jesus Christ, and that He also loves the lost people (who have not yet come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ). How your love for God is reflected in your attitude towards the church and unbelievers around you?Do you have the passion to see His church grow and to advance the values of the Kingdom of God through His Church Do you have the passion to see His lost sheep brought back to his fold?

    To every person that does not know his calling yet, I advise to be obedient to God on daily basis. If you will be obedient to God in your daily walk, then you will learn your calling; you will hear God and understand what He is calling you to.Daily obedience to God will bring a person to full realization of his or her calling. The big picture or the global project consists of multitude of small detail. As the saying goes, «Every trip starts with the first step».Repentance is the first step. After you repent of your sins, Jesus becomes your Lord. What does that mean? The Lordship of Jesus implies doing of what He tells you.

    Praise as a demonstration of our faith in God. In Roman 4: 20 we are told that Abraham He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. One of the ways we can both demonstrate and build a strong faith in our lives is to learn to give glory. One way we can give glory to God is to believe Him, praise Him and holding unto His word despite the negative circumstances of life. Only those who believe God is in control of their lives and their situations can live such a life. But the truth is that we cannot enjoy the life of God until we learn to give glory to Him by demonstrating our faith in Him through praise on a daily basis.
