All true ministry begins in the presence of God III

Hello Friend! So Ministry begins in the presence of God. Life itself becomes colourful as we learn to start our activities with God. This is what we have been taking about for the past two days. Today I want to show you one more thing that happened to Isaiah when he drew near to God. Just to remind you, yesterday we saw that drawing near to God allows us to see things differently. Seeing things differently will always affect our choices and actions. The next thing Isaiah saw as he went into the temple to worship was his sins and the sins of his people:
“Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty.” (Isaiah 6: 1).
As we draw closer to God, we will be able to see our self in the light of God. Many people look at themselves from the standpoint of what other people are saying or what they are thinking about themselves. The fact is that only God knows the true states of your heart. As you stand in the presence of God He will help you to see yourself correctly. Not only will you see yourself from God’s perspective, but you will be transformed into His very image. The way you see yourself will always affect your performance. For example, the Bible says the righteous is as bold as Lion, but the sinner runs even when no man is after him (Proverb 28:1).If through fellowship with God and time in His word, you have come to understand and see who you really are in Him that will impact confidence in you like nothing else will.It is in His presence you receive the power, the grace and the wisdom to do away with your limitations, so that you can be cleansed to bear more fruit for Him.Isaiah left the temple that day cleansed, transformed and equipped to bear more fruit than before.
“Then one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7 With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.” (Isaiah 6:7).
This is what awaits everyone that master the secret of beginning their ministry in the presence of God.Have a wonderful day! Pastor Rufus Ajiboye
