Promotion is connected to the issue of wealth, and we are not talking just about money. Riches are more than money. Health, joy, good relationships, peace, rest, and love – those too are riches. Many people have lots of money, but they lack true riches. God tells us today not to be haughty and not trust in material things; we need to trust God alone. We should be generous and sociable. When problems come, God is the only One Who can help us. Trust God and do good works. By doing this, you will draw God’s attention and earn God’s promotion.We have to always choose God´s will
Going through the most difficult ordeal in His life, when Jesus heart was internally struggling whether to accept or to reject God´s will, He proved with His own example that we have to always choose God´s will even if it requires us to go through pain and sufferings.«My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me; nevertheless, not what I desire, but what you desire.» (Matthew 26:39).« … Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Prayer is getting close to God.Let’s look at James (4:8): «Draw near to God and He will draw near to you…».Prayer means to consciously draw near to God. Prayer means to approach God on purpose.Who of you wants to draw near to God? Who of you desires for God to draw near to you? God cannot be closer to you than He is. But you can draw near to Him. God is so close to us; He says: „I am here!” You are asking: «God, where are You?” Remember when Elijah ran away and cried: «God, where are You?” But God was with him. God is everywhere! And we can draw near to Him through prayer.
