Our life is a product of what we see II

Peace to you, dear friends! I salute you on the pages of our „Daily Word for Spiritual Edification»!We have been talking about the fact that we can plan together with God and partner with Him to construct a great future. We established also that great future does not happen automatically.We are believers, but that does not mean that we do not have to think about the future. We should not be careless about our future even though we believe that our future is in the hand of God. God has given us a mind and He wants us to move forward and create a wonderful future for ourselves. A person who does not care about his future usually turns to be a failure. It is very important to plan for the future and to envision it.
«Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us…»(Ephesians, 3:20)
Yesterday we discussed the idea that God first places some images of what He wants us to become in our minds and thoughts. That means we first need to accept God’s plan and ponder upon it, or we will never have it. And in order to start pondering upon it we need to see this plan in our minds. What we cannot see we cannot have. God wants us to stop complaining about our life and to get serious about creating a new, successful future. The Bible says that
 „God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy, 1:7).
God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, of love and of a sound mind. The phrase ‘sound mind’ means ‘healthy mind’. God wants us to use our minds and purposefully move towards our wonderful future. If you have no understanding and no ideas of what your tomorrow is going to be like or if you really do not care about it or you lack the vision for it, it is all wrong, because God Himself does not want you to live like that. Many people have different excuses in this area, saying, „God alone knows my future; so why should I think about it?” Others say, „Whatever will be will be; there is nothing I can do about it”.   It is all a lie, and it is a wrong, erroneous thinking. God is calling us to become partners with Him so that together you can design a wonderful future. God cannot do it without us, and we cannot do it without Him. If we will cooperate with God, ponder upon the things He thinks and speaks of us and our future and move towards that future, – we will start seeing real changes in our lives. Till tomorrow! That is why it is so important for us to realize that if we want to remain in joy and learn to draw joy, we must grow in love with God’s Word.

One of the main tasks in this life is for us to find out this plan. After his salvation Apostle Paul set his heart on finding out his purpose in life.

    After Solomon forsook God for a season, he tried to find happiness and satisfaction in different things and activities. We see that Solomon made several attempts which all lead to disappointment. For a wise person Solomon’s experience can become good lesson in what the wrong ways to happiness are. We mentioned that Solomon sought happiness in education and knowledge, in fun and pleasures, in beauty, in works of men’s hands. Afterwards he came to a conclusion that despite the fact that all these things are important and necessary for living, none of them can make us happy, if God is excluded from our life. Solomon said that everything under the sun is vanity and grasping for the wind. Solomon’s conclusion was that everything that happens under the sun is vanity and grasping for the wind – if apart from God.

  • Love is a weapon of victory of the last time!

    “At the last days” – said Jesus – “the world will be full of hatred, sin, betrayal, resentment and bitterness.” Those who are not able to walk in love will experience serious problems at the last days – faced the power of sin they will not be able to fight it, get emotional injuries shortening their lives. Such people will end up with heart attack and nervous breakdown caused by the stream of evil, hatred, betrayal, rebellion and ingratitude over-flooding the world at the last days.
