Everybody is dedicated to something the question is what or whom. What or whom are you dedicated to in your life?

Good day, dear friends! I thank God for you and I believe this day will bring you huge blessings along your reasoning about the word God has given to you today. We are talking about how important your consecration and doing God´s will is. Taking Jesus life as an example we clarified that:
  • Jesus valued God´s will higher than food for the body.
  • Jesus never ever sought His but God´s will in everything.
  • Jesus set priorities on whom to spend the most of His time with.
  • Jesus rejoiced when His disciples reported that demons subjected to them in His Name.
As we said earlier, a person consecrated himself to God builds his relationship or friendship based on his purpose or his consecration to God, thus spending the most of his time with people who follow the same way as him. I also want to point out that Jesus sought every opportunity to fulfil God´s will instead of looking for an excuse why He couldn´t fulfil it.
«Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me, and to accomplish his work. Don’t you say, ‘There are yet four months until the harvest?’ Behold, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and look at the fields, that they are white for harvest already. He who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit to eternal life; that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.» (John 4:34-36).
Person consecrated himself to God never postpones things for tomorrow, never makes excuses when it´s time to stand up and act. Jesus reprimanded His disciples for their intention to wait for four months until the harvest, while as He affirmed there was no time any more. The harvest was already vanishing and decaying due to lack of working hands. Sense of understanding of time is the difference between effective and successful people and those who are ineffective and fruitless.Jesus said: «I must work the works of him who sent me, while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work.» (John 9:4), while the disciples said they still had four months of time.Consecrated person always seeks opportunity to fulfil his mission. So Jesus set a good example for us what consecration is and what it means to be consecrated to God. He also proved that person´s consecration reflects on his life style. Everybody is dedicated to something the question is what or whom. What or whom are you dedicated to in your life? Whom do you follow in your life? What is the engine of your life? What is your friendship with other people based upon? What makes you rejoice in your life? Is your dedication connected to eternal life and God´s will for your life? Please consider answering these questions, while you still have a chance to change something in your life! I wish every reader would consecrate himself to fulfil his purpose and God´s will for his life.God bless you abundantly!Rufus Adjiboje, pastor

  • How do we serve God?

We serve God by serving other people in His Name. To serve God actually means to serve other people in the Name of God or as the representative of God on the earth. It is to do good to others by meeting their spiritual, emotional, intellectual, physical or material needs as an act of our love for God. Please understand that your love for God will have a reflection your relationship with others. In the same way, your neglect of God reflects on how you relate to your neighbour.
  • The Word of God works in us according to the level of our understanding

In the parable of the sower, it is said that they who brought forth the fruit were the ones who heard the word and understood it. Some brought fruit thirty-, sixty- and hundredfold, according to their understanding.«But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty..» (Мatth. 13: 23).
  • You won’t have a ministry if you don’t start using what you have now

The topic of our devotion today is “Your gift will make room for you”.We have been talking about how all big things start small, whether it is a known person, great ministry, great accomplishments or great influence. It all starts when a person does what he can do and does it with all his might as unto the Lord with faith and consistency. When one has such attitude towards life he will have his or her reward from the Lord. Such a person will be blessed and exalted by God. His or her gift will make room for him or her in God’s overall picture and the Body of Christ.Person’s gift will make room for him and will bring him before great men, – this is on of the Bible principles; the Bible teaches about it and also it can be seen in the lives of the people in the Bible.
  • Presence of God V

God so desires for us to seek Him early in the morning. He so desires for us to return to Him. He wants to heal us and to bind up our wounds. God so wants to revive and restore us, so that we could live before Him. When we seek the Lord, when we seek to know Him, He comes and immerses us into His presence; He pours out His rain on us and waters the earth.Yesterday we talked about how Moses set up a tabernacle outside the camp for all seekers of the Lord. We also saw that instead of entering the tabernacle and seeking the face of the Lord, Israelites were simply observing how Moses spoke to God and how God answered Moses.
  • Fear not, stand up and go and God will be with you!

It´s also important to know that Jesus knows everything, He possesses all hidden information, necessary for our mission. That´s why obedience to the Lord who knows everything is vitally important! When Jesus had a need for a donkey to ride upon to Jerusalem, He knew where to find the animal. He knew where to go and find that donkey. He knew how to bring that donkey to Him.
