The voice of God is the source of the spirit of faith

Greetings! I am so glad for the opportunity to address every one of you reading this word with a message that will encourage and uplift you. We are continuing to talk about the advantages of being led by the Holy Spirit and hearing God’s voice. Let’s turn to the Holy Scripture.
«So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God» (Romans, 10:17).
Earlier we talked about two Greek words that are translated as „word” in the Bible: one of them is LOGOS, and the other – RHEMA or RHEMATOS. As we have already said, LOGOS is the written Word of God, but RHEMA – the voice of God that speaks to a people individually that addresses definite situations or circumstances that they go through. In other words, RHEMA is God’s word to you amidst of your trials and life battles. RHEMA is when God speaks to you personally through His Word. When we hear a rhema word it is though the letters and words from the Scripture jump right into your heart and become for you a real source of life, encouragement and solution to your problems. That’s what rhema is! When you receive rhemaword from God, you live by what you have heard. God continues to speak to us through His Word and His Spirit. The voice of God is the source of the spirit of faith. There are two dimensions of faith: THE WORD OF FAITH
«But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down from above) or “’Who will descend into the abyss?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach)» (Romans, 10: 6-8)
 THE SPIRIT OF FAITH
«And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, „I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak» (2 Corinthians, 4:13).
The commandments of the Lord are not the same thing as the voice of God. The Lord’s commandments is what differentiate LOGOS from RHEMA. The Lord’s commandments are LOGOS, while the voice of God is RHEMA:
«Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your Godto observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth» (Deuteronomy, 28:1).
When you hear God’s voice it makes you stronger and cleanses your life of all confusion and chaos. When you hear the voice of the Lord it awakens in you the spirit of faith and takes you up into God’s dimension and His frequency where everything is subject to your command. So the level of our faith depends on our ability to hear God’s voice. Faith is God’s gift that comes to us through the hearing of the word of revelation. Tomorrow we will continue to talk about the benefits and privileges that fill the life of every person who has learned to hear God’s voice and follow His instructions. God bless you! Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

  • How to enter your ministry

Today I would like to talk to you about how to enter your ministry. Let’s look at the things that are required to enter one’s ministry.First, you have to have a desire to serve.“This is a faithful saying: if a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work” (1 Timothy, 3:1).
  • Our highest calling – to reveal God in our flesh

The Bible says: «For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him» (John, 1:17-18).The law can never save people because the law only reveals the sinful nature of man. The law was given in order for people to realize their need for God and His help. It was Jesus who brought to us the truth and the grace that conveys spiritual power necessary to live in accordance with God’s will. Anyone who will accept this truth and grace will have the power to live a holy life and become an instrument in God’s hand that is able to manifest or declare God’s truth and grace to other people.
  • Confession of our sins before God

God cleanses and heals us from inside out. And one of the most important elements leading to the inner healing is confession of our sins before God and forgiving of other people’s transgressions. «And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors» (Mathew, 6:12).When we come to God in prayer, we must confess our sins and ask Him to heal us. Such a prayer brings healing and deep inner cleansing.
  • The goal and intentions of God for men on the earth

Heaven is the place from which Jesus rules and reigns over everything. What God says about us in His Word is the truth which we must believe. Now we have God’s nature in us and it must be continually fed and nurtured. We must believe that now we have heavenly authority and power that was given to us in order to destroy the works of devil on earth. That is what Jesus did when He walked on the planet earth: He destroyed and undo the works and intentions of the devil. He set an example for us to follow in His foot steps:«For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil» (1 John, 3:8b).
  • Prayer is our spiritual breathing

Ask God for grace to arrange your life for effective praying. Be honest with yourself today. Is your prayer life effective, or it has turned into fruitless routine? Maybe your really do not have any prayer relationships with God? You alone can answer these questions. We often talk of prayer; we hear of prayer. It makes us think that we know what prayer is. But do we practise praying? We know that prayer is necessary for our spiritual life, just like air is necessary for our physical life. We must be enough diligent and disciplined to pray.
  • Everything that is hidden will unavoidably be brought into the light II

«Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit!» (Psalms, 32:1-2) David says that after repentance God’s forgiveness comes into person’s life, his transgressions are forgiven, his iniquities are not imputed to him and his sins are covered. David says this person to be blessed. One who does not hide an iniquity in his heart is open before God. But there is no forgiveness for the one who does not repent and does not confess his sins to God.
