Planning is one of the expressions of wisdom

Dear brothers and sisters! I send greetings to you on this wonderful day!Time flies away so fast, therefore it is so important for us to learn to spend our days rationally. Today I want to show you that planning is one of the expressions of wisdom. The Bible talks about this,
„By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures. A wise man has great power, and a man of knowledge increases strength; for waging war you need guidance, and for victory many advisers.” (Proverbs 24:3-6).
In this passage, the word “house” symbolizes everything that we try to build and create in our lives. It may be our personal life, our families, business, company, organization, our calling, etc.In order to furnish a house, to secure and fill it with different beautiful treasures, it is necessary to ponder on all the steps and decisions. In this same passage, the Bible asserts that life is a war. „Therefore find a guidance to wage your war.” The fulfilment of your calling – demands war. Entering into your destiny – demands war. Building a strong and favourable family – demands war. Bringing up God-fearing children – demands war. Creating and managing a successful business – demands war. We are in a war and God is telling us to skillfully wage it using the assistance of wise guidance. The word “guidance” in the above passage is related to wisdom, expressed through planning. When we ponder on and analyze our ways, we can step out with a clearer and more specific strategy. It is not a coincidence that the Bible says wisdom is better than strength. (Eccl. 9:16а).A person can be strong and energetic, but if they lack wisdom, they can easily wear themselves out and waste their strength. A person can give all of their strength and with all that, they may not reach anything fundamental; because not everything depends on strength alone. Without a specific plan and strategy, you would only be beating the air and wasting your strength.God wants us to have a lot of wisdom, therefore He sent the Holy Spirit Who is the Spirit of wisdom. It is very important to understand that the Holy Spirit expresses Himself more through wisdom than through strength. When Prophet Isaiah prophesied that the Holy Spirit would come upon Jesus, he said,
„…The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him – the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.” (Isaiah 11:2).
By this prophecy, we see that when we speak about different expressions and functions of the Holy Spirit, there is a place both for strength and wisdom.Five times out of seven, the Bible tied or connected the functions of the Holy Spirit with wisdom, and not strength. The strength of the Holy Spirit is embedded in His wisdom.God wants you to be wise and successful in all of your actions. But one of the expressions of your wisdom is the skill of planning.Planning means to deliberately lay out steps of action in order to reach a definite result or success in life. All of our actions should bring specific fruit.
„Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air.” (1Cor 9:26).
In this passage, the phrase “I run” characterizes human action. Every person is occupied in one way or the other. We are always busy with something, and occasionally we hear from people or even from ourselves the phrase: „I do not have time”. Nevertheless, it is not our busyness that determines the level of our success, otherwise all people would be successful. Therefore in this passage, Paul is calling us to run not like a man running aimlessly or a man who is just beating the air. If we beat, then we should beat to hit a target. If we act, then we should not be chaotic in our action, but rather be organized and specific in our aim so as to become effective. Those who plan have more chances to be successful than those who do not plan. Planning guarantees effective utilization of our resources, finances, time, energy and efforts in order to reach an expected result. Those who are endowed with more opportunities and finances, but are not organized, sooner or later fail or come to poverty. At the same time, others with less opportunities but who are more organized, will continually rise up and excel in business. Therefore the Bible says,
„A poor man’s field may produce abundant food, but injustice sweeps it away.” (Proverbs 13:23).
The word “injustice” is translated as “lack of order” in the Russian Bible. Lack of order or organization leads to waste of resources. All of us have 24 hours in a day, but many are still saying they do not have time to do what is important. The only explanation for this is that such people lack order and organization in their lives. If you start managing and planning your time, it will surprise you how much you can manage to do in a day. Planning guarantees effective utilization of resources, therefore all successful people resort to planning. Instead of complaining that you have no time, no money, no people, etc.; stop and find out what God has given you already, start planning wisely and you will experience miracles in your life. Start organizing what you already have, because your miracle begins with that. Remember: The lack of order, organization and a defined action plan leads to loss and poverty. May the Lord bless you! • The importance of turning at the reproof of the Lord.

The Bible tells us that God will correct us because He loves us and is delighted in our prosperity. He will not live us to wander in our unrighteous ways. He will rebuke, chastise and discipline those He love just like any father will do to his children.“My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:12 For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth” (Proverbs 3:11-12).
  • Why do people choose to be irresponsible? IV

«Poverty and shame will come to him who disdains correction, but he who regards a rebuke will be honoured» (Proverbs, 13:18).When an individual does not accept correction and advice, then it makes it difficult to help him to become more responsible. As we have mentioned before, an irresponsible person always considers himself to be right; in his opinion he never errs and because of it he has a hard time accepting reprimand and correction. If a person has come to a point when nobody can speak into his life, then downfall of such a person is practically inevitable.
  • What true ministry is and how ministry changes people’s lives

We saw that usually Jesus first served people and helped them practically and then pointed them to the eternal things – to their Heavenly Father. We must remember that the goal of ministry is to help people reunite with God through our good words.True ministry will require of us to sacrifice something. But we do it for the Lord Jesus Christ and the Gospel
  • Why we need the favour? II

«And the Lord had given the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they granted them what they requested» (Exodus, 12: 36)When God gave favour to the children to Israel, in one day they took away from the Egyptians an enormous amount of silver and gold. For 400 years the Israelites had worked in Egypt as slaves; they were mocked and oppressed. However, in one moment the favour of God restored to them everything the Egyptians were holding back from them. In a blink of an eye they were made rich.
  • Isaiah saw three important things that totally changed his life

Whoever loves God serves people. The one who serves people is blessed and exalted by God. Ministry is a sacrifice. When you serve, you give what is yours – time, money, energy, sleep, food etc. God loves generous hearts, and He can’t pass by this type of people.Do you know why God blessed Abraham? It was because Abraham was a generous man. He was ready to give anything to God. Abraham left his family in obedience to God; he yielded to his nephew and allowed him to choose a place of lodging first. Abraham gave tithe to God at the time when no such law existed. He did not refuse to sacrifice to God his own son. For this reason God blessed him.
