Analyze your work and your days!

May the peace and grace from the Lord Jesus Christ be multiplied unto you today! Today I want to talk to you about the need to analyze your work and your days. I would like you to see God Himself doing it when He was creating heaven and earth; we can read about it in the first book of the Bible – Genesis.God analyzed and assessed His work before making the next step in His plan. It is a very important principle: periodically we need to stop and look at the things we are doing. It is important to analyze what we have: Is it what we expected? Is it what we wanted? Is it good enough or we need to work more to make improvements? In Genesis we see God doing it again and again.
«And God saw the light, that is was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day» (Genesis, 1: 4, 5).
«And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God say that it was good» (Genesis, 1: 10).
«And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that is was good» (Genesis, 1:12).
«God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good» (Genesis, 1:17-18).
Quite frequently God assessed what He had done. The Bible says: «And God saw that it was good».Other translation says: «And God saw that it was attractive, appropriate and He approved of it».  The creation matched with God’s original design, so it was good. If we don’t learn to stop like God did to analyze what we are doing and where we are going, then we might end up in a totally different place, not at the intended destination, and we might get something we did not plan to get. It is so easy to get distracted, to get involved into all kinds of entertainment and futile things; that is why we need to stop once in a while to check and analyze what is happening in our lives, whether it is good or bad, should it be changed or not, is the direction of our lives right and good. Let’s assume that in the beginning of the year you had a plan, a desire or a particular dream and you enthusiastically began carrying this plan out. But six month have gone by and you must stop and ask yourself: «Am I where I wanted to be or not?» If we do that daily like God did, we will be able to avoid wasting of time and resources and avoid making fundamental mistakes. I believe this insight will help you. Stop today and think: “Where is my life going? What have I accomplished?” May God give you wisdom and speak to you so that you could assess your life and change things that need correction.Be blessed! Till tomorrow!Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

  • Dedication precedes provision

God is always good, and He will never change in this sense. God is always powerful. God changes His strength for my weakness. God always has blessings for every one of us. The unchanging God can change you. You can always come to God – in any situation – and He will change you and your circumstances. All of us need provision, because we all have needs in different areas of our life: finances, health, wisdom for making decisions etc.
  • You make room for Him and His Word in your daily schedule

“Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.”According to the above passage, there is a process or protocol we need to follow if we want to see and experience the manifestations of God in our lives and in ministries. Now it is true that God is an omnipresence God. He is present everywhere at the same time. However, it is important to note that his presence is more real and felt in some places than anywhere else. What determines such a big difference? This is what I mean when I say we need to follow a protocol. Following the right protocol is what differentiates between the intensity of God’s manifest presence in our lives, home and churches.
  • The things that you are ready to sacrifice or give up will determine what will come into your life

Yesterday we saw that God had asked Abram to leave his country, his father’s house and his relatives and to go to the land that He would show.“Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you” (Genesis, 12:1).
  • Everything that is hidden will unavoidably be brought into the light

«For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil» (Ecclesiastes, 12:14). Solomon said the same thing Jesus said: God will bring into judgment our every work and especially all the hidden works: sins, wrongdoings that we have tried to keep in secret. God will openly bring our every deed into the light of His judgment. It means that all our sins will follow us wherever we go. The only way we can avoid the consequences of our sins and wrongdoings – is to repent before God brings them into the judgment. Repentance opens to us the door of mercy and grace from the Lord. It brings into our life new opportunities from the Lord. For this reason the only right lifestyle and the only correct decision is to repent of our wrongdoings so that God won’t have to judge us.
  • Changes through Ministry III

Ministry helps us to live for others not just for ourselves. When a person has a servant or serving heart, his life is focused on making other people happy instead of waiting on the other people to make him happy. Somebody with such an attitude and life position has no time for depression or for self-pity. His life is rather focused on searching for and helping other people who lives in poorer conditions himself instead of sitting around celebrating self- pity party. The person who understands the purpose of true ministry doesn’t live for himself, but his goal is to love God and to love other people.
  • Why do people choose to be irresponsible? III

Fear paralyzes and limits a person, takes away his strength and courage for going forward; it does not allow person’s talents and gifts to come out on the surface. Fear steals person’s faith in God. A wicked heart makes a person selfish and stains his motives. Such a person is alienated from the true understanding of responsibility for his words and actions. He lives according to the principle “I do not owe a thing to anybody; everybody owes me!»
