How to enter your ministry?
Greetings to you, dear friends! This is the day that the Lord has made for us to rejoice and celebrate before Him! God’s mercy has been renewed for every one of us this morning. God continues to pour out on us His mercies and kindness! The Word of God is a tremendous blessing for all of us. Through it God edifies us and our faith.Yesterday we started discussing how we can enter our ministry. We established that, first; we need a strong desire to serve. This desire is tied to our understanding of God’s will and the purpose of our salvation. As we talked about, ministry helps us to reveal our potential. Ministry helps us to find out about ourselves, our calling in the establishment of God’s Kingdom on earth and doing the works that are pleasing to God. God has predestined for us to do particular good works. God desires for us to be fruitful and glorify Him on earth. Through our ministry God wants to fill this earth with the knowledge of Him and His Kingdom. He wants us to establish His principles in every sphere of life and win people for Him by the ministry we do on earth. What else do you need to enter your ministry? You must find out what you can serve with? You can only use what you have.
«Then Peter said, „Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk» (Acts, 3: 6).
A miracle in your life starts when you give to God what you have at the moment.“So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil”.” (2 Kings, 4:2).
It is important to realize what you have:- Education
- Experience, even the negative and the painful
- Talents
- Spiritual gifts
- Skills and abilities
“Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is give to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness” (Romans, 12: 6-8).
«As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God» (1 Peter, 4: 10).
God promises to bless everyone who will serve Him and the people with his or her gifts and talents. Ministry will help you to expand your borders and show you new horizons. We will continue tomorrow! I wish abundant God’s blessings!Pastor Rufus AjiboyeSupport us so we can do more
