How to set grace free in our lives?

Peace to you, dear friends! We continue speaking about the power of God’s favour.Until now, we were speaking about what favour is and how it benefits us. We also saw that favour is the heritage of every believer in Christ. We also talked about what is the basis or foundation of favour.Today, I want us to talk about how to set grace free in our lives. Favour in a person’s life is never a coincidence; it is the results of understanding God’s ways. There are certain godly secrets that we all must comprehend and apply in order to be able to set free the power God’s favour in our lives.
“Good understanding gains favour, but the way of the unfaithful is hard” (Proverbs 13:15).
In other words, understanding of the laws of life brings favour in a person’s life. Acquiring understanding and comprehension, you simultaneously open the door for supernatural favour in your life. Whereas lack of understanding makes one’s life hard and difficult. The lack of understanding or comprehension is what we call spiritual ignorance. Such ignorance is one of the main reasons why the life of many Christians is very hard and unstable. When you comprehend the laws that guide the operation of favour and begin to regulate your life according to these laws, then the favour of God will be set free in your life. As a result of this favour, your life will be distinguished from the lives of other people. For example, there is a law, which is called the law of sowing and reaping among Christians. This law is first mentioned in Genesis 8:22:
„As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.”
In the kingdom of God, all things are subject to this law, including the power of God’s favour. Harvest of any sort can only follow the seedtime. Any fruit begins only with a seed. Releasing the power of favour in our lives clearly depends on how well we understand and apply this important law of the kingdom of God. We will talk about this in more detail tomorrow. May the Lord give you comprehension in everything so that spiritual darkness and ignorance will be dispelled from your life! Until tomorrow!Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

  • Forget not all His benefits!

Many of us do not thank God as we ought to, because we do not purposely keep in mind what God has done or is doing for us. We forget because we do not write it down. When I was a teenager, we often sang a song that said: «Count your blessings! Name every one of them, one after another, and you will be amazed at what the Lord has done!» I advise every one of you to record every miracle and every blessing that God does in our lives. You can use different methods: either modern technologies or simple writing.
  • What is compassion?

We must understand that Jesus’ disciples were not perfect; quite the opposite, they are ordinary people with „character issues”. Jesus did not wait until they become perfect, but sent them out to serve people. He did not have anybody else to send; so He worked with what He had. And He is calling us to do the same today; it applies to every one who considers himself to be His disciple. Jesus desires for God’s children to be filled with compassion and to help people allowing God to touch all the people around them with His love.If we see someone perishing physically because of some illness, we do everything to save him. We often do not realize that unsaved people are spiritually ill, that they are perishing and need salvation. We must do everything in our power to save them. So our hearts need to go out to them with love and compassion.
  • The law of harvest and multiplication II

«Listen! Behold, a sower went out to sow. And it happened, as he sowed, that some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds of the air came and devoured it. Some fell on stony ground, where it did not have much earth; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of earth. But when the sun was up it was scorched, and because it had no root it withered away. And some seed fell among thorns; and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no crop. But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.» (Mark 4:3-8)
  • God gives to everyone according to his or her ability III

God has created us in His image and likeness, and He made us to be His children and He has separated us for Himself. God brought us into His wonderful light, into His Kingdom – through Jesus Christ! God has created us in Christ Jesus for good works, which He has ordained for us to do! This is alone is enough to give us a reason to be greatful to God. None of us deserve all these benefits, but God – because of His great love for us – has done all of these things for us in Jesus Christ. And God gave every one of us gifts and talents, so that we could expand His Kingdom and serve Him with His talents. God promises to bless us abundantly as we work and serve in His Kingdom.
  • The generosity and hospitality that opens doors for God’s intervention II

When we are hospitable, when we are willing to help people and to share with them what we have, when we do everything in our power to make our guests feel comfortable, when we minister to people from the bottoms of our hearts, then we, as God says, unwittingly show hospitality to angels that bring God’s gifts and blessings to people. By casting people off, we can also reject God’s angels.
