Each of us is responsible for what we become in life

Each of us is responsible for what we become in life

Taking responsibility for decisions we make in life, no matter what the circumstances are that lead us to these decisions, is one of the most important lessons that we can learn in this life.

Human research shows that men and women for different reasons try to escape responsibility for what they are, and they blame other people for their failures.

Planning helps us to discover for ourselves the goal of our lives and steer our efforts towards fulfilling this goal

Planning helps us to discover for ourselves the goal of our lives and steer our efforts towards fulfilling this goal

The Bible says, „Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is he who keeps the law.” (Proverbs 29: 18).

Another translation of „revelation” means revelation of the redemptive purposes of God, but the phrase „cast off restraint” is translated as „destruction”. Thus, without a clear understanding of the redemptive purposes of God, the nation of God is destroyed because they cast off restraint.

How does planning benefit us?

How does planning benefit us?

Planning helps to effectively communicate our vision, desires and our expectations to others.

Planning not only gives us a better understanding of the task, it also helps us to effectively pass on our wishes and expectations to others who will team with us to carry out the task. How can you ask for help from others, if you do not have a clear understanding of what you really want to accomplish? During the process of planning, your ideas will become more specific and clearer, and then you can effectively pass them on to others.

Do not waste your time, but rather invest in what will outlive your time on earth

Do not waste your time, but rather invest in what will outlive your time on earth

Send your treasures to heaven by investing in those who are going there. Many are rich with goods and treasures of this world, but they are poor toward God. The Bible call such people fools:

20″But God said to him, “You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?” 21This is how it will be with anyone who stores up things for himself but is not rich toward God.” (Luke 12: 20-21)

What it means to accept personal responsibility

What it means to accept personal responsibility

If you can remember, yesterday we talked about the fact that what defiles a person is not what is done to him, but his personal reaction to that. In the following Scripture we saw that neither the man nor the woman were willing to take personal responsibility for their actions.

„The man said, “The woman you put here with me–she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.» Then the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” (GEN 3:12-13)

Being a Christian is a responsibility

Being a Christian is a responsibility

God lifts up and raises exactly those who agree to become responsible. Jesus speaks on this in the next passage:

«For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.»(Мatth.25:29-30)

The Word of God works in us according to the level of our understanding

The Word of God works in us according to the level of our understanding

In the parable of the sower, it is said that they who brought forth the fruit were the ones who heard the word and understood it. Some brought fruit thirty-, sixty- and hundredfold, according to their understanding.

«But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty..» (Мatth. 13: 23).

Only God can tell us the way we can please Him through our ministry

Only God can tell us the way we can please Him through our ministry

Can we serve God on His conditions, instead of ours? does our service to God cost us something? Whether we give to God the rests of our time which and so is not present, or we give to It from the rudiments? Do we give to God the left over of times or do we commit the first fruit of our time to God? Do we serve God only when that is convenient and favourablу for us, or we are ready to sacrifice our comfort for the sake of the interests of the Kingdom God?

What did you do with Jesus Christ, the Son of God? What did you do with all those resources that were given to you by Him?

What did you do with Jesus Christ, the Son of God? What did you do with all those resources that were given to you by Him?

How will you answer these questions? It is very important to answer these questions already now. This is why we invite all members of the church to actively serve God. The desire to serve God will prompt the believer to think – what can I do? What do I know and how can i use that for the benefit of the Kingdom? what do I have already, and what can I share with others? How can I use my experience in serving other people, in honor of the Lord?
