Preparation is a key to effective life! II

Greetings to you all, my friends and welcome to our column “Daily word for spiritual strength”! I am thankful to God for each of you and I pray, so that you are still thirsty for God´s word and His wisdom, thirsty for fellowship with Him, for He is the source of our life.Yesterday we started to talk about preparation needed in order to make our life effective. We also clarified that once preparation process has begun today, tomorrow will bring new opportunities and victories into your life. In opposite case, your tomorrow will bring you only bitterness and failures. `The Bible says, that right today if you hear His voice and His word, you must obey and submit yourself to Him. It ensures your preparation process for God´s magnificent plan for tomorrow. 
«while it is said, “Today if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion.” For who, when they heard, rebelled? No, didn’t all those who came out of Egypt by Moses? With whom was he displeased forty years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness? To whom did he swear that they wouldn’t enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient?» (Hebrews 3:15-18).
Your tomorrow is the outcome of your today´s efforts and time you spend. Your today impacts your tomorrow, therefore, you better prepare yourself for tomorrow, use your time to develop yourself, building up your character and skills. If you disobey God today, you will not be able to enter your promised land tomorrow, due to the cruelty of your heart. If you take care for today, God will take care for your tomorrow then.
«So Jotham became mighty, because he ordered his ways before Yahweh his God.» (2 Chronicles 27:6).
Jotham became mighty not by accident, not at all. Vice verse, his strength was quite understandable, because he ordered his ways before God. Jotham was concerned with the question of his spiritual preparation. Those who are well prepared for this life have more chances to succeed. You will get from your life what you are prepared for, not what you want.
«David said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be built for Yahweh must be exceedingly magnificent, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.» (1 Chronicles 22:5).
Preparation increases your chances to succeed on any level. Solomon managed to successfully build a Tabernacle, that lookedexceedingly magnificent, of fame and glory throughout all the countries, because it followed the serious preparation, for both Solomon and His father David. The great Tabernacle building process took place after a serious preparation.Studying the story about Israel conquering the promised land we also notice the preparation phase prior to this.
«Pass through the midst of the camp, and command the people, saying, Prepare food; for within three days you are to pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which Yahweh your God gives you to possess it.» (Joshua 1:11).
 There is a plenty of different examples in the Bible about the preparation followed by victory, success and prosperity in the lives of many people.Abraham Lincoln once said: «Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.»No doubt, opportunity finds only those who are prepared. God has prepared wonderful blessings for you, also new opportunities, but it´s only up to you and your readiness whether you use these opportunities or not.Be blessed in the Lord today!     The Church of Jesus Christ is the place of accountability and not where everyone does what comes to his mind. The New Testament contains many of God’s commandments that have the phrase “one another” in them. It tells us that we do not only walk before God, but also walk before one another. For example, it says in several verses that we should love one another.

  • How can we earn promotion? III

    God has set particular order in His Kingdom; there are some principles that the Kingdom of God is based on: humble people open for themselves the grace of walking in the fear of the Lord and they experience riches, honour and full life from God, – the Word of God says so. Prideful and haughty sooner or later are humbled and their life is filled with falls and destruction.If we desire God’s promotion we need to walk in humility and obedience to God. So many people after they get promoted become unapproachable, unsociable, and haughty.

  • Please stop finding fault and shifting blame

    Other people might be responsible for where you are in life, but nobody is responsible for your continuing to stay where you are. Until you stop finding fault and shifting blame, you will not rise up and take responsibility for your advancement in life. Here is what God want you to do from today on:Don’t blame the devil, resist him (James 4: 7); Don’t blame God, obey Him (Genesis 3: 12-13); Don’t blame your challenges and predicaments; fight your way through them by faith (Number chapter 12-14).

  • The example of accountability in the life of apostle Paul II

    Leaving for his mission Paul didn´t make himself unaccountable just because he had already been anointed and free. At that moment Paul had become a mature minister established many churches. Nevertheless, he was still an accountable person. He returned to the church at Antioch, to the place he had been sent from, to meet those whom God had been made an authority over Paul. Moreover, Paul also held an account before the apostles in Jerusalem regarding the way his ministry was going.«Then after a period of fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus also with me. I went up by revelation, and I laid before them the gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately before those who were respected, for fear that I might be running, or had run, in vain». (Galatians 2:1-2).
