The more we collaborate with God, the more prophecies we will see fulfilled

I bless you precious children of God and pray, so that God´s word be revealed to you in a special way today that it fill your life with new values.Yesterday we talked about God´s prophecies, fulfilment of which also depends on our contribution. No prophecy will be fulfilled unless certain human resources have been released in appropriate circumstances. We have heard many prophecies of personal character and those that refer to church, and all of them are waiting on the day they will be fulfilled. Maybe you feel grieving these days, ill or completely exhausted. God has a different view at your life, He says: “You future is wonderful! You are healed! You are mighty and great!”When God turns to you He always calls you “a strong man”, while He seems flattering because the reality looks totally opposite to this. Maybe you are ill today, while God is saying: “you are well”, so you take a look around thinking: “Whom is He saying it to? Anybody, but me?” Sometimes God is full of humour! When Gideon was full of fear and in panic, he even hid himself from people, the angel of God visited him and called Gideon a strong man. Hearing these words Gideon thought the angel was talking to somebody else but him.
«The angel of Yahweh came, and sat under the oak which was in Ophrah, that pertained to Joash the Abiezrite: and his son Gideon was beating out wheat in the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites. The angel of Yahweh appeared to him, and said to him, Yahweh is with you, you mighty man of valour. Gideon said to him, Oh, my lord, if Yahweh is with us, why then has all this happened to us? and where are all his wondrous works which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not Yahweh bring us up from Egypt? but now Yahweh has cast us off, and delivered us into the hand of Midian. Yahweh looked at him, and said, Go in this your might, and save Israel from the hand of Midian: have not I sent you?» (Judges 6:11-14).
The more we collaborate with God, the more prophecies we will see fulfilled. When Gideon followed the way shown by the angel of God, he witnessed incredible God´s miracles. Collaboration with God leads to the fulfilment of God´s prophetic plans. When Jesus had entered Jerusalem, «all the city was stirred up», – this is a good example of His collaboration with God. We wish all our cities could be stirred up by the Holy Spirit, don´t we? We desire that God´s actions would be apparent, so that reporters reflect the ongoing events daily, don´t we? God stated that, so places will be stirred up one day. God desires that, but what about you? What does it mean to be stirred? When such things happen due to the changes taking place in people and through people the latter can´t remain indifferent to God any more. Nowadays people live wrapped in their problems, immersed in their own world, as though there is no God at all. They use some duty phrases in their speech like “For God´s sake”, “Thanks God”, but there is no God in their hearts at all. It happens to them just because they have never experienced the real God in their lives. God is a care taking father. Such people have not felt how real the God is, how powerful and Almighty Creator He is.God wants to manifest Himself in your life and in my life. God wants to bring revival into our families, our church, our cities. To accomplish this He needs helpers, ready to follow His call and obey His orders. Make a decision to become His co-worker today!God bless you!Rufus Adjiboye, pastor

  • If you will not initiate changes, they will never happen in your life

It is time to know that changes are initiated rather than expected. Changes do not happen by chance, they happen because someone initiated them. When it was dark and void all around, God initiated change by introducing light. He said “Let there be light”.“In the beginning, when God created the universe, the earth was formless and desolate. The raging ocean that covered everything was engulfed in total darkness, and the Spirit of God was moving over the water. Then God commanded, “Let there be light”—and light appeared” (Gen.1: 1-3)
  • Thanksgiving as the basis of worship II

God did so much for Joseph. He saved his life when his brothers wanted to kill him. God showed him favor when he was sold into slavery. God abundantly blessed the work of his hands that his master placed him over his whole property. Joseph never forgot these blessings from the Lord. The realizations of God’s mercy filled Joseph’s heart with gratitude toward God and his master.
  • Nobody will be able to harm you if you know God’s voice and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit

The Bible also states that everything God does endures forever. Nobody is able to destroy or cancel what God makes and builds. For this reason nobody was able to harm Jesus before the appointed time, when Jesus Himself gave up His soul. Jesus was protected by God the Father because he followed the leading and the guidance of the Father.
  • The lordship of Jesus Christ II

«The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” The LORD shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies» (Psalm 110:1-2).This passage talks about Christ: «Rule in the midst of Your enemies», but the Body of Christ — His Church — is included in this prophetic word. Jesus was told to sit at the right hand of God; but it would be God’s children that would overcome God’s enemies and every thing that rise against the will of God. God wants us to rule and reign in the midst of the enemies and unfavourable circumstances. We must rule because we have been given God’s authority and we were born conquerors.
  • We have to strengthen our spirit

The Bible states «A man’s spirit will sustain him in sickness, but a crushed spirit, who can bear?» (Proverbs 18:14). Satan wants to hit our spirit via hardships, trials and problems. When your spirit is strengthened, you can overcome any kind of weakness, get through all kind of hardships and trials. So how can we strengthen our spirit? God´s word and His promises strengthen our spirit and overcome weakness and sufferings. In order to not give up, we need to learn how to lean on the word of God and His promises – fully and unconditionally. We have to learn God´s faithfulness and realise that God will never forsake us unless we abandon Him ourselves.
  • Our life is a product of what we see III

God wants us to cooperate with Him. His future and our future is a great, bright one. But we have to cooperate with Him to make sure this imagined future becomes a reality in our lives. It might be that today you look small in your own eyes, but God wants to give you a great future. And He does not keep us in ignorance about the prospects for the future, and for this very reason He gave us the Holy Spirit. One of the things that the Holy Spirit does is revealing the future God has prepared for us.
