The Kingdom of God

Greetings to you, dear friends! I thank God for each one of you and I am grateful for the opportunity to speak the Word of God to you through the “Daily Word for Spiritual Edification”.Today I want to talk about the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God is a very important concept, which is often mentioned in the Bible. When we read the New Testament we see that the message about the Kingdom of God was the central message and mission of Jesus Christ. The very first sermon of Jesus Christ was a message that called people to repent and to believe the Gospel, because the Kingdom of God has drawn near.God’s Kingdom is the fulfillment of God’s will on the earth, just as it is fulfilled in heaven. God’s Kingdom is where God rules; it is the place of domination of God and His laws. God’s desire is that His Kingdom will spread throughout the whole world; but in order to do that it must first be established in the heart of every individual person.The mission of Jesus is the establishment and expansion of God’s Kingdom on this earth, until the kingdom of this world is taken over by the Kingdom of our God. All of the activities of the church of Jesus Christ on the earth must be in close connection with this mission. The establishment and spreading of God’s Kingdom on the earth is the reason why we pray, evangelize, teach, and minister.God’s Kingdom has to spread throughout this earth until it dominates everything.
«Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, „The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever?” (Revelation, 11:15)
According to this verse, God’s unchanging desire is for the kingdoms of this earth to become the kingdoms of God and His Son. That is what Jesus said in what we know as the Lord’s Prayer; when His disciples asked Him to teach them to pray, He told them to pray this way:
 „Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Mathew, 6:10).
Only the coming of God’s Kingdom on this earth can solve all spiritual, social, psychological, economic, and political problems. The whole earth and all the peoples of the earth need God’s Kingdom to come.The truth is that the kingdoms of this earth will eventually become the Kingdom of God and His Christ. God has already announced it as an established fact, but you and I live at a time when the process is still ongoing; everything is in progress. Jesus brought the Kingdom of God to the earth, and it is spreading through the kingdoms of the earth.God desires every believer to get involved in this process of growing God’s Kingdom on this earth. Do you want to take part in the process of spreading Kingdom values on this earth? What will your role be? Will the Kingdom be established with your help or without it? The answers to these questions are very significant.The expansion of the Kingdom of God won’t happen automatically. In order for it to expand, the followers and disciples of Jesus must get involved. If you have made a decision to be an instrument of Kingdom expansion in all the areas of your influence, then you will have to change your approach to life and learn to overcome the hindrances in this life. In order for you to be effective in this area, you must join the team of overcomers in Christ. The establishment of God’s Kingdom will not happen without spiritual fighting; that is why you need to join those who have learned to overcome in Christ.We will continue tomorrow.Be blessed!Pastor Rufus Ajiboy

    Praise as a demonstration of our faith in God. In Roman 4: 20 we are told that Abraham He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. One of the ways we can both demonstrate and build a strong faith in our lives is to learn to give glory. One way we can give glory to God is to believe Him, praise Him and holding unto His word despite the negative circumstances of life. Only those who believe God is in control of their lives and their situations can live such a life. But the truth is that we cannot enjoy the life of God until we learn to give glory to Him by demonstrating our faith in Him through praise on a daily basis.

    I want you to notice that it is required of us to accept the Word if we want it to bear fruit. People with stony hearts also accept the Word, but there is a difference between them and those whose heart is identified as being good ground. People with stone hearts receive the Word on the emotional level, on the surface; besides, they are not consistent, and as a result the Word cannot take root in their hearts.«…and they have no root in themselves…» (Мark 4:17)

    Recognising of your calling and your task in this life is a process that consists of many small details. Quite often, people try to reveal their calling, while neglecting those small details that make the whole process. You are created to take care for others and saved to minister. There many places in the Bible talking about this. We are going to elaborate the verse from Paul´s letter to Ephesians 2:10

(Galatians 5:22-23).These are the changes God wants to make in us. He doesn´t want us to be people with “big head” and with “small heart”. Neither it´s His intention to see us as those who only hold a form of godliness, but having denied the power thereof. Bible invites us to turn away from such people.

There is a saying that not knowing the law does not relief from the responsibility; not knowing God’s laws or moral blindness multiplies human sufferings on earth.Every person must gain knowledge and understanding of God’s provision; we must know what God has done for us in Christ so that we can lessen human suffering. The lack of such knowledge can cause great pain. It is like a person starving because he does not know about state aid. The lack of knowledge of one’s rights and privileges can cause unnecessary problems.
