Good morning, my dear friends!I am glad to greet you on the pages of our „Daily Word for Spiritual Edification”Today I would like to talk to you about the advantages that are hidden in pain and problems. Pain and problems – they are the things that God uses to spiritually discipline and develop us. We learn obedience through the things we suffer.
«..though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered» (Hebrews, 5: 8).
Gold is purified in high temperatures. Sufferings are ‘high temperature’ that purifies us. Our faith must be like purified gold.
“But He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold” (Job, 23:10).
God uses sufferings to make our faith more precious. The Bible talks about it in 1st Peter (1:6-7):
“In this your greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honour, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ”.
Right attitude towards trials – it is when we rejoice before God and hand over our situations to Him. It is vital to grasp that those who desire to live a godly life will suffer, but God knows how to take us through and deliver from any difficult situation. Our part is to love God and be obedient to Him.Besides it is important to understand that the manner how we go through difficulties affects other people.     Every person has a goal, whether he talks about it or not. He is driven to do something. But if we talk about goals, it is important to determinewhether it is WORTHY or UNWORTHY. Paul had a worthy goal and talked about it all the time:«…according to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell. For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for you.
