Good morning, my dear friends!I am glad to greet you on the pages of our „Daily Word for Spiritual Edification”Today I would like to talk to you about the advantages that are hidden in pain and problems. Pain and problems – they are the things that God uses to spiritually discipline and develop us. We learn obedience through the things we suffer.
«..though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered» (Hebrews, 5: 8).
Gold is purified in high temperatures. Sufferings are ‘high temperature’ that purifies us. Our faith must be like purified gold.
“But He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold” (Job, 23:10).
God uses sufferings to make our faith more precious. The Bible talks about it in 1st Peter (1:6-7):
“In this your greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honour, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ”.
Right attitude towards trials – it is when we rejoice before God and hand over our situations to Him. It is vital to grasp that those who desire to live a godly life will suffer, but God knows how to take us through and deliver from any difficult situation. Our part is to love God and be obedient to Him.Besides it is important to understand that the manner how we go through difficulties affects other people. One of the rewards of faithful service in the Kingdom of God is prosperity. The Bible says God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrew 11: 6). Jesus also said those who seek first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness will be rewarded with the necessities of life.Our God is a God who sees in the secret and who rewards us openly, so other can see it. God will never forget your work and the labour of love you showed towards His Name (Hebrew 6:10).

It is true that ministry transforms us into the likeness of God. Since God is graceful and compassionate in His essence, then we His children should be able to show to others the grace and compassion of our Heavenly Father and we do that by serving other people. Earlier on, we already mentioned that God’s desire is to transform us into the image and the likeness of Christ so that we can begin to reflect the quality of character that Jesus had. It was Christ who came to reveal God to us so that we can follow in His steps. We know that changes automatically do not occur; changes or transformation happen only as we implement the laws and principles of God into our life. Ministry is one tremendous way we can do that; it is one of the many tools, God uses to mold and transform us into likeness of Christ.

When I hear the preaching of God’s Word, God speaks to me through someone else. When I read the Word, God speaks to me directly. There are things He wants to speak to me personally, without mediators. God wants me to fellowship with Him so that He can teach me. When you hear the word through the other preaching of people, you can hear things that you do not fully understand or you might even say you do not agree with some things. However, when you fellowship with God through the reading of His Word and God reveals some things to you, you cannot say it is someone else’s opinion.
