Where there is life there is hope

Hello Friends, I welcome you today to our daily word for Spiritual strength. Today I want us to talk a little bit about hope. God’s word for you simply put is this: Where there is life there is hope.Hope is one of the greatest words of the Christian faith. It is one word the unsaved man cannot use, because there is no hope for the unsaved according to the Bible (Ep.2: 11-13). If you are reading this word today and you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, your hope begins with that step. If you want to take that step but you don’t really understand what that means and how to do it, please read our booklet: The Jesus you never knew or visit our page: becoming a friend of God.The Christian has hope because he has life in Christ.There are at least four sources of Hope for the believer.
  1. We have hope because of salvation (Roman 5:1-2). We have been justified by faith, which means we have right standing before God through Christ and we have access into the grace of God. We rejoice in hope. It is not a vague dream, it is not a feeling but a divine assurance or certainty. Because you are saved by faith through Christ, even if you die right now, you have the blessed assurance that you will be ushered and welcomed into the blessed presence of God.
  2. We also have hope in suffering (Romans 5: 3-4). This scripture says “tribulation worketh patience and patience experience and experience hope…” Suffering cannot break you because of your relationship with God and your access to His grace or power. Suffering makes the unbeliever give up all hopes. It is not so and should not be so for a believer. When you know that suffering produces character in you, then you will have the hope to confidently face your sufferings. When a Christian suffers he rejoices in hope because he knows that God is in control. The darker the night is, the brighter the stars of God’s promises gleam. His promises stand out brightly in front of us as we face our daily challenges and as we cling unto them hope will never vanish. Romans 8: 17 says that to suffer with Christ is to be glorified with Him, so the hope to be glorified with Christ should help us to face our trials with joy.
  3. Believers also have hope because of the scriptures (Rom.15: 4). No book inspires faith and encouragement like the scriptures. As you read the stories of God’s dealings with His people in the Bible you find your faith growing stronger and stronger. The Bible says faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God (Romans 10: 17). You have hope in life because you are saved, you have God’s promises in your tribulation, you have access to His grace and power and you have a Bible. Plug into your sources of hope today.
  4. We have hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. One last source of hope I will not fail to mention is the Holy Spirit, who is our Helper and guide. For example, He will use the word you read to increase your hope as Paul prayed in Rom.15: 13:
“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost”.
No matter what you are going through right now, the Holy Spirit is right by your side ready to fill you with hope, joy and peace. The only condition is for you to believe and turn to the sources of hope that God has made available for His children.Where there is salvation, God’s promises, the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit, there is hope.     When you first begin, don’t expect something big. Start doing something small that you are able to do and do it with consistency and responsibility and do it with all of your heart. Develop the gifts and talents that you have noticed in yourself, using them for the good of the people and the Kingdom of God. As you do it God will allow you to enter larger ministry. You will be noticed not because you’re sitting around doing nothing, but because you are doing your best. That is how your gift makes room for you.“A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great man” (Proverbs, 18: 16).

  • The goal and intentions of God for men on the earth

    Heaven is the place from which Jesus rules and reigns over everything. What God says about us in His Word is the truth which we must believe. Now we have God’s nature in us and it must be continually fed and nurtured. We must believe that now we have heavenly authority and power that was given to us in order to destroy the works of devil on earth. That is what Jesus did when He walked on the planet earth: He destroyed and undo the works and intentions of the devil. He set an example for us to follow in His foot steps:«For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil» (1 John, 3:8b).

  • Sin is one of the main sources of tragedies and various curses on the earth

    So we see that sin is one of the sources of tragedies in the world. Dear reader, you can ease the suffering in the world by joining to the army of people who overcome evil by the power of love. Because of Moses’ correct decision, millions of Jews were saved from destruction. Because of your correct decision God can bless your family, your city, your country and the whole world.If you haven’t accepted Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Saviour and you still lust for the wrong things, if you still resist God’s will and experience excessive appetite for sinful things and give in to impulses, – you need to know that by your life you multiply pain and suffering in this world.

  • Analyze your work and your days!

    If we don’t learn to stop like God did to analyze what we are doing and where we are going, then we might end up in a totally different place, not at the intended destination, and we might get something we did not plan to get. It is so easy to get distracted, to get involved into all kinds of entertainment and futile things; that is why we need to stop once in a while to check and analyze what is happening in our lives, whether it is good or bad, should it be changed or not, is the direction of our lives right and good.

  • Do not focus of what you do not have; simply go ahead and use what you have! II

    God gives to us gifts according to our ability, so He does not call us to do the thigs we are not able to. If God has asked you to do something, it is only because He knows you are able to do it. He won’t give you more than you are able to bear. Simply use what you have.I once read a story about a woman who built a school for the needy. Before she began this, a desire was born in her heart to do it. It became her dream that she was thinking of consistently. At that moment she did not have a thing: no textbooks, no teachers, no building, and no money. But she did have a tremendous desire to fulfil her dream.
