Analyze your work and your days! II

Good morning, dear friends! I bless you this day in the name of Jesus Christ! Yesterday we talked about how important it is to stop and assess our activities.Despite the fact that God is perfect, He stopped and analyzed things He had done. If God stopped to give account to Himself, then we – sinful people – absolutely need to do it. I am sure God has given us an example of daily and repeated analysis of our lives. Today I would like to talk some more about it.In order for us to analyze our day, first of all we need to see that God had a plan of what He wanted to get done. He had a plan, a dream, and a vision of the world He wanted to create. We cannot effectively analyze our day and our life without a concrete plan. You need to start your analysis with a question about your plans. Ask yourself: „Do I have a plan for my life?” Let’s start with a single day, – do you have a plan for this or the next day? If you do, then ask yourself whether this plan is based on God’s perception of your life? Does your plan include God’s vision of your life? Does this plan bring you closer to the goal of God in your life, or you live the way you like without any plan or design? Does this plan bring you closer to what you want to become and to the goal you want to reach in your life? If you do have a plan, you have to ask yourself the following questions: What is going well and what is not? What is going right and what is not? What should I change? Should I repent of some things and what I want to thank God for? What will my next steps be? What am I doing tomorrow? If you won’t analyze your life on a consistent basis, continuously comparing your plans with the will of God for your life, you will end up wasting your life, but that is not the will of God for any of us.I pray for God to give wisdom to every one of us so that our lives would be effective and bring joy to us, to God and to the people around us. Be blessed! We will continue tomorrow.God’s peace to you! Pastor Rufus Ajiboy

« Because I have called, and you have refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no one has paid attention; … Then will they call on me, but I will not answer. They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me; Because they hated knowledge, And didn’t choose the fear of Yahweh. » (Proverbs 1:24, 28, 29).In these verses God tells us about the necessity to change our attitude towards His call, otherwise He would not listen to our calling the time we run to Him with our petitions. Forget about your own problems and take part in finding solutions for the needs and problems God has today, He will become a part of a solution for your problems then.
  • How to set grace free in our lives? II

The law of sowing and reaping governs how favour works. It is necessary to look at favour as a seed that must be sown. Jesus said that, “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.” (Matthew 5:7).In other words, Jesus is saying, “Blessed are those who have sown favour or mercy, because they will reap favour or mercy”.Generally, the level of favour operating in your life depends on the level of the seed of favour you sow into other people’s lives. This means that I cannot expect the harvest of favour in my life until I have not sown mercy into other people’s lives.
  • We must learn to think big!

God’s Kingdom is bigger than just a church; the Kingdom cannot be hidden inside the church walls. The Bible tells us that we are salt to the earth and light to the world. It means that our ministry has to go beyond the boarders of a church and leave an impact on the city, the country and the world. We need to think of how to salt the earth and enlighten the world. We should start locally; but we must think globally. «You shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth», – said Jesus in Acts (1: 8).
  • Do not bury your miracle!

Today I want to encourage you not to burry your dream, even when everything around you tells you that it won’t ever come true. There is such a thing as the power of resurrection. That is the word I want to bring to you.We started to talk about a woman whose hospitality and generosity brought a miracle into her life, and as a result she gave birth to a son.
  • Are you in bondage, in the wilderness or in your promise land?

We read about how God promised the children of Israel a land flowing with milk and honey, but when it came time to possess it, as a nation they were not ready. There are attitudes that keep you in bondage and wandering in the wilderness, while a promised land flowing with milk and honey awaits you. The Bible is full of the record of sins that plagued the rest of the children of Israel which we are to be aware of today in our lives.
  • I desire mercy and not sacrifice

«As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, „Follow Me.” So he arose and followed Him. Now it happened as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples. And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, „Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” When Jesus heard that, He said to them, „Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance» (Mathew, 9:9-13).
