Do not focus of what you do not have; simply go ahead and use what you have!

Greetings to you on this wonderful summer day! The indescribable beauty of nature that has been created by God surrounds us every day. Find some time today to look at the sky, to enjoy trees, flowers, and birds. God is the Amazing Creator of visible and invisible things. And everything He has created is wonderful and perfect. In the same amazing manner God created every human being. King David said:

«I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvellous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well» (Psalm 139:14).

Every human being is a unique work of God. Everyone has been given unique abilities and talents. There isn’t one unnecessary person on this earth; there isn’t one insignificant talent or ability. Everything that God created is needed by someone and is intended as a blessing for someone. Look at yourself today in a new light and see that you are a unique personality highly gifted by God; you are a unique specimen. There isn’t another person on this earth like you! But sometimes we are distracted when we start comparing ourselves to others and envying them just because they have something we do not have. For this reason we stop appreciating the things that God has given us and sometimes it makes us passive and inert.

I remember how God gave me a desire to write a book about fasting. At first I thought, «Why do I need to write about it? What new things can I reveal in it? What else can be written on the topic?» When a friend of mine who lives in Germany heard my contemplation, he said he did not agree with me. He said, «Maybe there are many things written about it, but you are going to write your book. You will write like nobody else. It will be an original and unique work». He persuaded me and I wrote the book. One day I went to Kiev and a woman came to me. She started to thank me for writing the book. She said that she was from Armenia and that my book had become a great blessing for her. I was astounded because I had never been to Armenia. She said she had read ‘Then they will fast’, which was the first edition of my book and consisted of only 20 pages. (Now we have the second edition available.) This lady told me that she had problems with fasting. She had tried fasting, but was not successful. She had read a multitude of books by great preachers such as Derek Prince, etc. But nothing worked until she read my 20-page book about fasting. She said that she experienced a total breakthrough in the area.

This lady greatly encouraged me with her testimony. Today I can freely say that I praise God for not being Derek Prince, for example. Derek Prince was more talented; he could reveal the truths of the Scripture in a special way and I am glad for it. But I am also glad that I am Rufus. Each of us has received from God according to our ability. A problem is that some people use their God-given talents, but others do not.

It is not important how many talents you have; it is important that you are using what you have. Do not focus on what you do not have; simply go ahead and use what you have. That is what the parable of talents is all about.

May God help you use your uniqueness and apply your potential for the spreading of God’s Kingdom. May it be said about you,

«His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord» (Mathew, 25:23).

We will continue tomorrow. I wish you God’s abundant blessings!

Today many people mostly emphasize different manifestations, anointing, gifts, talents and personal development. All of these things are important. But if we neglect the development of God’s character in us and do not make it a priority, if we forget to draw near to God and fellowship with Him, then we are doing not the will of God, but instead carrying out our own will. And as a result we are not able to bring glory to God.

  • The blessedness or beauty of serving others!

Ministry is a widespread concept among believers. In essence, ministry is giving of all things: giving of one’s talents and gifts, one’s knowledge and time, one’s heart and resources. The Kingdom of God is built through such giving. Your church is built by your giving and ministry. It says in the Bible that it is more blessed to give than to receive. God blesses those who serve, so if you want to get to the top of God’s blessedness learn to serve God and people.

  • Worthy Goal for Life II

Yesterday we started talking about our goals. Everyone has them. We discussed that there are worthy and less worthy goals. We also saw that after meeting Christ, Paul devoted his life to Him; earnest expectation of Christ to be glorified in his body and through his life became his main goal in life. It is very important to ascertain for ourselves what our goals are.You and I have been justified by faith in Jesus Christ and we have peace with God. But it is just the beginning. Having been reconciled with God is just the beginning of the Christian walk. What awaits us afterwards? Through faith we gain Access to God’s grace and we expect the glory of God to be progressively revealed in us and through us.

  • Sacrifice as a measure of love! IV

I want to tell you that singing to God, praising Him, enjoying His presence is not a difficult task at all, if we will only take a moment to reflect or think of His grace. Even when you are having very hard times in life, you can still find something in your life that you can thank God for. Even when you think everything in your life is falling to pieces and your situation is the worst on earth, nevertheless, continue to believe – you simply have not encountered a situation that is worse than yours. But, when you see such a situation, you will find that you live in paradise.

  • Changes always come from praying! III

During the past few days we have been talking about the idea of a person being the main initiator of the miracles he needs in his life. In order for God to be able to do something supernatural in the individual’s life this individual must create the natural platform or foundation for this miracle. When you mix your distress with prayer, then the miracle will surely happen and you will have true and undisputable proof of God’s miracle and His supernatural intervention.
