Greatness starts with little things!

This is the day the Lord has made that we might rejoice and celebrate before Him! God’s mercy has been renewed for every one of us this morning. God continues to pour out on us His mercies and His abundance! His love towards us is unending. There is nothing and no-one that can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. But God expects us to also love Him in return. The Bible says:
«And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment» (Mark, 12:30).
The one who loves always desires to do something for the object of his love; he always seeks ways to serve and to give the best of himself. It is possible to give without loving; it is possible to serve without loving; but it is impossible to love and not give yourself by serving. Because of His great love towards us God gave the biggest treasure – His only Son Jesus Christ. What are we ready to give to God, Who loves us so dearly? How strong is our love towards Him?God is calling us to minister to Him and to our loved ones. In order for us to do that He has given us certain talents. God is telling us to use them and spread His Kingdom in the process of doing that.
«So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Do business till I come’» (Luke, 19:13).
It is the Lord’s commandment – to use the talents that God has given us.Greatness starts with little things! Begin using the little things you have and be faithful and consistent in it; then you will be surprised to see what can grow out of it. The seed of greatness is in every person right now. But this seed will grow and bring harvest only if you will plant it and use it according to its original purpose.
«A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation. I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time» (Isaiah, 60:22).
Till tomorrow!Today be faithful and obedient to God in small things!Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

“Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls” (James, 1:21).For the Word of God to be implanted in you, you must ‘lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness’. If you are mad at everybody then you won’t be able to hear and comprehend the Word; you will read it, but it won’t work in your life. The process of engrafting requires a special treatment, protection in order to preserve the tree from infection. The same can be said about a human heart, – it must be protected from wickedness so that the Word of God could be planted and then bring forth fruit – the fruit of salvation.
  • How can we earn promotion? III

God has set particular order in His Kingdom; there are some principles that the Kingdom of God is based on: humble people open for themselves the grace of walking in the fear of the Lord and they experience riches, honour and full life from God, – the Word of God says so. Prideful and haughty sooner or later are humbled and their life is filled with falls and destruction. If we desire God’s promotion we need to walk in humility and obedience to God. So many people after they get promoted become unapproachable, unsociable, and haughty.
  • Preparation of the way of the Lord

Today I would like to talk to you about the preparation of the way of the Lord. The preparation of the way precedes the coming of the Lord. Our readiness to meet God determines the actual experience with God. If we are not ready, we will be left outside of what God is doing. But if we are adequately prepared, we will be qualified to experience the visitation of the Lord. Let’s look the Scripture.
  • The Kingdom of God III

Jesus brought God’s Kingdom to this earth and He wants us to be involved in the process of expanding His Kingdom here, on the earth. God wants His Kingdom to triumph over the earth. And there is no need to discuss whether it is going to happen or not, – this matter is already resolved; it will surely happen. What you need to decide is whether this spreading out will happen with your involvement or without it.I am sure that every believer that sincerely loves God desires to be part of this process, desires to have the Kingdom of God not only within him, but also to spread it all around.
  • How God chastises and disciplines His children

    1. God uses His Word, the Bible to discipline us.Do you have some separate time to read and personally study God’s Word? Do you study the Word together with other believers? Do you listen regularly to the preaching of the Word? All these issues are very important, since it is the Holy Scripture that God uses to speak to us. Through the Word God corrects us and gives us important instruction concerning the way we should live. God sees and know how we live. God knows all of our hidden desires and thoughts, and He wants to correct us through His Word.

Today I want to encourage you not to burry your dream, even when everything around you tells you that it won’t ever come true. There is such a thing as the power of resurrection.
