God’s glory appears on the mount of prayers

Dear readers, I greet you on this wonderful day that the Lord has created! Already for several days, we have been talking about prayer as the source of God’s glory, revelation and light in people’s lives. We looked at the examples from the lives of Moses, Jesus Christ and His disciples.Concluding this topic, I would like to mark that God’s glory appears on the mount of prayers.
“The LORD said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and stay here, and I will give you the tablets of stone, with the law and commands I have written for their instruction.” Then Moses set out with Joshua his aide, and Moses went up on the mountain of God.When Moses went up on the mountain, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD settled on Mount Sinai. For six days the cloud covered the mountain, and on the seventh day the LORD called to Moses from within the cloud. To the Israelites the glory of the LORD looked like a consuming fire on top of the mountain. Then Moses entered the cloud as he went on up the mountain. And he stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights.” (Exodus 24:12-13; 15-18).
If you put the necessary effort and overcome all the obstacles to climb up this mount of prayers, the glory of the Lord will be with you everywhere you go.Dear brothers and sisters, dear pastors and leaders, dear ministers! Do you have your mount of prayers? Do you have this time when you stop in all of your rush in order to seek God in prayers Who is the only source of life?It is His presence that drives the enemy away, His presence brings freedom, healing, renewal and prosperity. In God’s presence, there is fullness of joy and eternal bliss.
“You have made known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand.”(Psalms 16:11).
In God’s presence, there is light and revelations for life. After Moses had spent time in God’s presence, his face was radiant because of God’s glory.
“When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the Testimony in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the LORD. When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, his face was radiant, and they were afraid to come near him. But Moses called to them; so Aaron and all the leaders of the community came back to him, and he spoke to them.” (Exodus 34:29-31)
“But Moses called to them; so Aaron and all the leaders of the community came back to him, and he spoke to them.” (Exodus 34:31).
People saw the radiance of God’s glory on the face of Moses.God’s Word has not changed. Until this day, God’s principles have remained unchanged. Until this moment, the faces of the people who spend time with God are radiant in God’s light and His glory.
“Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.” (Psalms 34:6)

  • Transformed person is a person with the right and pure motives

Transformed person serves other people because he loves them, not in order to benefit from them. It makes me sad when I meet people who minister because it gives them a certain benefits. It´s awfully hard to change a person who has such motives. Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus was one of this kind. For three and a half years he had stayed with Jesus, but in no way it changed him, because he had sinister motives. Judas Iscariot was greedy, money loving man. Jesus put Judas in charge with financial part of His ministry, so he had access to money and offerings. First Judas began to steal money from their pay-box, later also betrayed his Master.

Love is not feelings, it is self-sacrifice, but self-sacrifice – it is decision.Of course, there are feelings in love. But, if we love God, our mutual relationships with God do not consist of feelings alone. The Bible talks about people whom God calls His friends. Why were these people special? All of them proved their love for God with self-sacrifice. They did not afford themselves do many things only because they loved God and longed for friendship with Him.
