Preparation is a key to effective life

Good day, dear friends!Thanks to God for this awesome day He granted us with! Thank Him for another opportunity to get filled with His living word! Today I wish to discuss with you a very important topic: “preparation is a key to effective life”. In reality, effective life is impossible without appropriate preparation. Jesus solved the question of effectiveness by preparing Himself for the ministry. There is almost no information about what Jesus had been doing during the first 30 years of His life. Gospels tell us the story about His ministry. Meanwhile, we need to understand that prior to starting His ministry Jesus had been seriously preparing himself for quite a long time. «The child was growing, and was becoming strong in spirit, being filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him.» (Luke 2:40). Jesus was growing, and was becoming strong in spirit, being filled with wisdom, developing certain skills and calling Himself to discipline. For example, He regularly communicated with the Father: «But the report concerning him spread much more, and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities. But he withdrew himself into the desert, and prayed.» (Luke 5:15-16).Jesus often fasted. (see Luke 4:1-16) When people came to Jesus asking for healing, Jesus never rejected them saying He would need to fast for 7 days first and only then pray for their healing. Not like that, He always was in shape, always ready to serve people, because He kept preparing Himself for ministry. The Bible prompts us to be ready at all times: «But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts; and always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear.» ( 1 Peter 3:15). «preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching.» (2 Timothy 4:2). Influential people always work on themselves. God always prepares the vessel He is using. Are you letting Him to prepare yourself? Your future starts today as the following verses of Scripture say: «Joshua said to the people, Sanctify yourselves; for tomorrow Yahweh will do wonders among you.» (Joshua 3:5).«Yahweh said to Moses, “Go to the people, and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments, and be ready against the third day; for on the third day Yahweh will come down in the sight of all the people on Mount Sinai.» (Exodus 19:10-11).«Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.» (Matthew 6:34). If you take care for tomorrow, tomorrow will take care for itself. If you skip your preparation for tomorrow today, tomorrow will bring you only bitterness and failure. Today is important! What are doing with your life today? What are you doing with the word of God today? What are you doing with His call today? Commence your self-preparation today, so that your tomorrow can delight you! We will continue tomorrow!     “Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls” (James, 1:21).This is a very profound verse of Scripture that must be considered and closely examined. But I would like to draw your attention to several points. Here the Bible talks about the implanted Word which saves our souls. It resembles the process of engrafting a branch of tree into another tree, after which these trees become one, since they have the same root system. The implanted Word must be one with me. God wants His Word to be planted in my heart so that the Word and I become one because it is only then will the word be able save my soul.

    Everything that devil has bound up in your life – your miracle, your promises, – can be released to you by the supernatural power of God. But for it to happen, prayer must become your number 1 priority.Take any Bible story and you will see what powerful prayer of believers is able to accomplish. For example, what did Daniel do when he was thrown into lions’ den? Did he pray? No, it was too late to pray. He had been praying long before he got to this point in his life. It is too late to pray when you are in a den with some lions. You must pray before anything like that happens! Daniel prayed three times a day every day.

    First of all, God ”will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able”. Maybe you don´t even feel that He is keeping all your situations under control but as a matter of fact, He has already set the limit of your hardships. God will not let things, that are above what you can bear, enter your life. You probably underestimate your own strength, but God knows better. When your reasoning is right you prevail over hardships. God will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, so you can overcome all difficulties in life – that´s the idea you should feed your mind with.

    Do you know that you are not all you could be yet? Only the Lord knows who you are created to be and He wants to make you become who you are really created to be. That is why He said “I will make you”.Peter and His brother were created to be Fishers of men, but they did not know that until they started to follow Christ.The bible said they straightway left their nets, and followed him. Their destiny was changed that very day. That was the point the Lord began to make them into who they were created to be.

    What does it mean to be stirred? When such things happen due to the changes taking place in people and through people the latter can´t remain indifferent to God any more. Nowadays people live wrapped in their problems, immersed in their own world, as though there is no God at all. They use some duty phrases in their speech like “For God´s sake”, “Thanks God”, but there is no God in their hearts at all. It happens to them just because they have never experienced the real God in their lives. God is a care taking father. Such people have not felt how real the God is, how powerful and Almighty Creator He is.
