Don’t ever allow anything or anybody to stop you from serving.

Good day friends!Today, the word the Lord laid on my heart to share with you, simply put, is this: serve your way out of your dungeon. There are a lot of examples of how people changed their status in life by faithfully serving God and others. Joseph of the Bible is an example worth emulating.Genesis 39: 20-23 This passage records how Joseph was thrown into the prison unjustly. The next chapter describes the reaction of Joseph to the injustice that was done to him. How did he react? He kept on serving His God by serving people. He refused to focus on how badly he had been treated or how life had been unjust to him. Rather, Joseph concentrated on moving ahead in life by serving people through his spiritual gift.Genesis 40: 2-4 Friends, no matter how badly people or life itself has treated you, if you want to move ahead in life you have to learn how to focus on the right thing and choose the right life position. If, despite all the odds of life, you can still focus on using your gifts and talents, if you can still continue to serve people, then you will soon be able to change your status. That is exactly what happened to Joseph. As he served these two officers of Pharaoh instead of concentrating on the offenses of others, the door to his throne opened to him easily. Pharaoh sent for Joseph and fetched him out of the prison.Genesis 41: 9-14
  • Are you in the pit right now because of what other people did to you?
  • Has your sweet and prosperous life been disrupted by the wickedness of people or some natural disaster?
  • Do you think life is unjust to you?
  • Are you struggling to make ends meet despite your hard labour and great efforts?
Stop complaining! Stop wasting your time planning on how to retaliate! Stop playing your self-pity game! Stop playing the blame game! Move ahead in life. Concentrate on how you can cultivate and develop the gifts and talents God has given you. Serve the people God has put in your life. Focus on how you can please God by loving and serving other people and attending to the needs around you. Before you know it, you will have turned all evil plans against you into fortune. The Bible says it is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35). Jesus said that the way to greatness is through service.
“But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; and whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:” (Matthew 20:26–27).
The way to your throne is through serving, so learn to serve your way up. Ministry is a ladder that leads to the high place God has ordained for you in life. God’s word to you today is this: don’t ever allow anything or anybody to stop you from serving. Remember, when you serve or give, you actually benefit more than the people you are serving. Remain blessed! • You have been created, redeemed and restored! You were born twice!

We are not only created by God, we are also reworked or recreated by Jesus Christ. We are talking about the opportunity available to sinful people because Christ has come into this world. This is exactly what the letter to Ephesians says:«You were made alive when you were dead in transgressions and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the powers of the air, the spirit who now works in the children of disobedience; among whom we also all once lived in the lust of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus; for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.» (Ephesians 2:1-10).
  • Is anything too hard for the Lord?

This question is so crucial because how we answer it will determine the measure of God’s involvment in our lives. This question helps us to realize that how much we know about God affects the level of our faith. When a person believes that there is nothing impossible for God, that person has a particular attitude towards life, a particular reaction to hardships, a particular spiritual attitude that appears when he or she runs into difficult problems that do not change for a long time.
  • Habit is a compilation of knowledge, skills and willingness II

The Bible says, that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. What shall I do when I feel my prayer doesn´t work well. Shall I read a book about upsurge and healing, or listen to a sermon about liberation from curse, maybe I should blame devil and demons for all failures of my praying life. It´s them who set obstacles for me. Quite often people blame devil for all failures in their life. When I listen to the sermons constantly focusing on satan and demons I ask myself, whom are we preaching and whom are we glorifying? Read gospels to see what Jesus said to the demon. He said: “leave him” then continued his way. It´s not a satan fault that you don´t practise praying.
  • Suffering as a method of discipline

One of the reasons God allows suffering in the lives of His children is that He desires to draw our attention to Himself, to correct and discipline us. We know that God mostly corrects us by His Word: «All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work» (2 Timothy, 3:16-17).
