Being a Christian is a responsibility

Dear brothers and sisters!

Today I want to challenge each of you to become more responsible. Not only the world or the church needs responsible people, but also God. Being a Christian is a responsibility. God lifts up and raises exactly those who agree to become responsible. Jesus speaks about this in the following passage:

«For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.»(Мatth.25:29-30)

Irresponsible people lose their positions and everything that they own, whereas responsible people multiply their influence and grace. If you want to experience a rise from God this year, then make a decision to become responsible in all the spheres of your life.
By the way, church membership is a responsibility too. Every member of a church has a duty to get acquainted with the aims and tasks of the church, let them pass through their hearts, let them overwhelm them, and bind the aim of their life with these godly aims in order to honour God with their life every day. God has promised to honour those who honour Him.

«Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed..» (1 Sam. 2:30)

«If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.» (John 12:26)

Behold, therefore, I can surely assert that everyone who takes upon themselves responsibility and honours God with their lives is already walking the road to be raised by God.

I wish you accomplishments and success on this road.

Until we meet again!

  • Your gift will make room for you! II

«A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men» (Proverbs, 18: 16).Studying the church history, we see that all of God’s generals didn’t start big. These people used what they had and did whatever they could. They began using the abilities they had. Eventually, their gifts found their place in the Body of Christ and grew into large ministries. For example, Dr. T.L. Osborn saw that people needed salvation, so he started meeting this need to the best of his ability: he started printing little tracts on his printing machine and went door to door leaving them in their post boxes. At the time he couldn’t even imagine that it will lead him to huge international evangelistic ministry that he has today.

In other words, my attitude towards God and the people around me determines whether I will be happy or not. • How does a truly responsible person look like? II

A responsible person is organized, disciplined and diligent even when nobody watches him or her. Such a person determines what he needs to do, when he needs to do it and makes the necessary effort to accomplish it. A responsible person submits to what he needs to do. Since he understands the importance of being responsible, he cannot be idle or inert. A responsible person effectively uses his time, his energy and his resources.
