It is extremely important for us to grow in God’s character and nature so that we can effectively function on earth

Welcome, precious God’s children, to „Daily Word for Spiritual Edification”! I pray that God’s grace for instruction will your life today.

We continue talking about the importance of the development of God’s character and nature in us. It is extremely important for us to grow in God’s character and nature so that we can effectively function on earth. As kings we rule by righteousness.

This is what the bible talks about in Proverbs 16:12:

«It is an abomination for kings to commit wickedness, for a throne is established by righteousness» .

In order for a throne or a reign or government to be established, it must be done by righteousness or truth. As we’ve said before, in Paul’s Epistle to Romans we are told that we rule on earth by the gift of righteousness (see Rom.5: 17).

The Power, authority and wisdom to rule on earth come into our lives through our uncompromising stance against sin and unrighteousness. If we choose righteousness and total submission to God and His commandments as our lifestyle, then God can channel His authority into our lives; our life will be filled with God’s authority, and God will grant us the right to rule and reign on earth. If we do not walk in God’s righteousness and in submission to Him, then we are left without spiritual authority and ability to spread God’s life on earth. And we will lack the ability and the enablement to forward God’s purposes and intentions on earth.

So it is important for us to remember that our authority must be underpinned by God’s power, for that is the only way this authority can bring life and blessings, and bring forth God’s purposes on earth.

That is the reason why God blessed man and gave him the ability to be fruitful, multiply and subdue the earth for God after creating man in His image and according to His likeness.

«So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, „Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth» (Genesis, 1:27-28).

We see that human authority for dominion on earth must be supported by God and underpinned by heaven; it must be certified by God and have God’s blessing on it. And only then are we are able to fulfil God’s purpose for the earth. We cannot be fruitful without God’s blessing.

What does it mean to have God’s blessing?

His blessing is His support in everything we do; it is when heaven supports our deeds and God is on our side. The Bible states that God’s throne is in heaven, and that is where spiritual authority and power comes from; that is the seat of the law and dominion. If heaven does not support our activities and is not on our side, then the things we do on earth do not have the approval and seal of God, which is LIFE. Without the blessings of God and Heaving confirming us none of our good activities will carry or bear the mark of the life of God. The Bible tells us that God looks down from heaven seeking out the one whose heart is loyal and devoted to Him. God seeks out those who imitate Him in their actions, since God desires to support and help these people to accomplish His purpose on the earth. We read about this in the 2nd Book of Chronicles:

«For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him» (2 Chronicles, 16:9a).

This passage of Scripture shows us that in order to be able to spread life on earth we must have the support and approval of heaven; we must have God’s blessings. For that to happen we must manifest God’s character; we must have fellowship with Him and we must show our devotion to His purpose in the earth. And since God created us in His image and according to His likeness, we have the ability to enjoy fellowship with God and to grow in His nature. We only need to devote ourselves to that as our first priority in life.

We will continue on this tomorrow!

I wish you abundant God’s blessings!

In order for us to analyze our day, first of all we need to see that God had a plan of what He wanted to get done. He had a plan, a dream, and a vision of the world He wanted to create. We can not effectively analyze our day and our life without a concrete plan. You need to start your analysis with a question about your plans. Ask yourself: „Do I have a plan for my life?”

  • What is calling? How to reveal personal calling and how to enter it?

Recognising of your calling and your task in this life is a process that consists of many small details. Quite often, people try to reveal their calling, while neglecting those small details that make the whole process. Nowadays, many people are unhappy because they either lack revelation for their life or oppose to such revelation, or simply lack understanding of how to fulfil the revelation. Let´s figure it all out.First thing to know is the fact that you were born to carry out a certain task. Bible says our life on this Earth has a goal and value determined. You are not a result of an accident! You were born on this Earth not just for the matter of occupying some space and breathing. You´ve got a mission to fulfil, a way to measure. You are created to take care for others and saved to minister. There many places in the Bible talking about this. We are going to elaborate the verse from Paul´s letter to Ephesians 2:10

  • Your gift will make room for you! II

«A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men» (Proverbs, 18: 16).Studying the church history, we see that all of God’s generals didn’t start big. These people used what they had and did whatever they could. They began using the abilities they had. Eventually, their gifts found their place in the Body of Christ and grew into large ministries. For example, Dr. T.L. Osborn saw that people needed salvation, so he started meeting this need to the best of his ability: he started printing little tracts on his printing machine and went door to door leaving them in their post boxes. At the time he couldn’t even imagine that it will lead him to huge international evangelistic ministry that he has today.

  • The seed contains tremendous potential III

What does fruitfulness depend on? On the level of understanding of the mysteries of God’s Kingdom. As we mentioned, if a person listens to the Word of God but does not understand it, then Satan comes and steals the Word. Those who understand the Word bring forth fruit – thirtyfold, sixtyfold and hundredfold. That is why the first requirement for being fruitful in His kingdom is an understanding of the mysteries of God’s Kingdom. Today I would like you to see to whom God reveals the mysteries of His Kingdom.

In order for me to change I need to follow Jesus. It means I need to follow and submit to His Word and His instructions. It means to spend time with Him to learn His heart and to participate in His mission. To follow Christ also means to imitate Him in all things. It means to react like He reacts, to speak like He speaks, to love what He loves and to hate what He hates.

  • What sin means?

When a person does not submit to God’s Word and despises His instructions, he or she sins. God has particular plan or will for every area of person’s life and it is spelled out in the Bible. But when you life according to your own wishes and do not pay attention to what God says about it, then tragedies are inevitable. For some time it may seem that you have outsmarted God, but this deceptive feeling won’t last long. These people sat in darkens and the shadow of death; they were bound in grief because they did not submit to God’s Word and despised His will.«Fools, because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, were afflicted. Their souls abhorred all manner of food, and they drew near to the gates of death» (Psalm, 107:17-18).
