Each of us is responsible for what we become in life

Each of us is responsible for what we become in life

Taking responsibility for decisions we make in life, no matter what the circumstances are that lead us to these decisions, is one of the most important lessons that we can learn in this life.

Human research shows that men and women for different reasons try to escape responsibility for what they are, and they blame other people for their failures.

How does planning benefit us?

How does planning benefit us?

Planning helps to effectively communicate our vision, desires and our expectations to others.

Planning not only gives us a better understanding of the task, it also helps us to effectively pass on our wishes and expectations to others who will team with us to carry out the task. How can you ask for help from others, if you do not have a clear understanding of what you really want to accomplish? During the process of planning, your ideas will become more specific and clearer, and then you can effectively pass them on to others.

Do not waste your time, but rather invest in what will outlive your time on earth

Do not waste your time, but rather invest in what will outlive your time on earth

Send your treasures to heaven by investing in those who are going there. Many are rich with goods and treasures of this world, but they are poor toward God. The Bible call such people fools:

20″But God said to him, “You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?” 21This is how it will be with anyone who stores up things for himself but is not rich toward God.” (Luke 12: 20-21)

Being a Christian is a responsibility

Being a Christian is a responsibility

God lifts up and raises exactly those who agree to become responsible. Jesus speaks on this in the next passage:

«For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.»(Мatth.25:29-30)

The Word of God works in us according to the level of our understanding

The Word of God works in us according to the level of our understanding

In the parable of the sower, it is said that they who brought forth the fruit were the ones who heard the word and understood it. Some brought fruit thirty-, sixty- and hundredfold, according to their understanding.

«But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty..» (Мatth. 13: 23).

What did you do with Jesus Christ, the Son of God? What did you do with all those resources that were given to you by Him?

What did you do with Jesus Christ, the Son of God? What did you do with all those resources that were given to you by Him?

How will you answer these questions? It is very important to answer these questions already now. This is why we invite all members of the church to actively serve God. The desire to serve God will prompt the believer to think – what can I do? What do I know and how can i use that for the benefit of the Kingdom? what do I have already, and what can I share with others? How can I use my experience in serving other people, in honor of the Lord?

How do we serve God?

How do we serve God?

We serve God by serving other people in His Name. To serve God actually means to serve other people in the Name of God or as the representative of God on the earth. It is to do good to others by meeting their spiritual, emotional, intellectual, physical or material needs as an act of our love for God.
Please understand that your love for God will have a reflection your relationship with others. In the same way, your neglect of God reflects on how you relate to your neighbour.

The reward of faithful service in the Kingdom of God

The reward of faithful service in the Kingdom of God

One of the rewards of faithful service in the Kingdom of God is prosperity. The Bible says God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrew 11: 6). Jesus also said those who seek first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness will be rewarded with the necessities of life.

Our God is a God who sees in the secret and who rewards us openly, so other can see it. God will never forget your work and the labour of love you showed towards His Name (Hebrew 6:10).

Allow you trouble to enlarge you instead of breaking you

Allow you trouble to enlarge you instead of breaking you

Trouble can either break you or make you. It all depends on your reaction. We will examine the example of David and allow him to teach us today how to react in difficult situation.

“Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer. 2 O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah. 3 But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.

Don’t ever allow anything or anybody to stop you from serving.

Don’t ever allow anything or anybody to stop you from serving.

Friends, no matter how badly people or life itself has treated you, if you want to move ahead in life you have to learn how to focus on the right thing and chose the right life position. If despite all the odds of life you can still focus on using your gifts and talents; if you can still continue to serve people, then you will soon be able to change your status.
That was exactly what happened to Joseph. As he served these two officers of pharaoh instead of concentrating on the offences of others, the door to his throne opened to him easily. Pharaoh sent for Joseph and fetched him out of the prison.
