Our highest calling – to reveal God in our flesh

Greetings to you, dear friends!

Grace to you and peace from the Father God and our Lord Jesus Christ!

Today I would like to start talking about our highest calling – to reveal God in our flesh.

The Bible says:

«For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him» (John, 1:17-18).

The law can never save people because the law only reveals the sinful nature of man. The law was given in order for people to realize their need for God and His help. It was Jesus who brought to us the truth and the grace that conveys spiritual power necessary to live in accordance with God’s will. Anyone who will accept this truth and grace will have the power to live a holy life and become an instrument in God’s hand that is able to manifest or declare God’s truth and grace to other people.

«In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. (..) That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world» (John, 1:4, 9).

Jesus became God’s personification (incarnation) in flesh in order to enlighten every man who comes into this world. Nobody has ever seen God, but Jesus came into the world to reveal God to people. The life of Jesus in the flesh is the light that helps people to see God. People looked at the life of Jesus and saw God because Jesus revealed God and manifested His nature through His life. Jesus has now passed this same mission to us His disciples. The life of Jesus in us must become the light for other people.

« Jesus said to him, „I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” Philip said to Him, „Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” Jesus said to him, „Have I been with you so long, and yet you have no known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves » (John, 14:6-11).

Jesus said that He is the way to the Father. All of those that saw and heard Jesus or saw His works also saw the Father since Jesus manifested the Father in everything He did. That was why Jesus came to this earth – to show people who God is and the way to Him.

When people see our lives they either are drawn closer to God whom we represent or our lives repel them from Him. We must do everything we can to manifest God through what we do and say. We do not need to impress people, but we must reveal God’s nature through our lives. Jesus said:

The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works » (John, 14:10).

People are listening to our words on daily basis. If we speak the words of God, we’ll be revealing God to others. Our words are a reflection of what we are carrying inside of us. Our words and deeds are the channel or venue through which we manifest God in our lives on the earth. Since life lived in the flesh is not capable of revealing or manifesting God; only life lived in the Spirit is able to do this. We must therefore so immerse ourselves into God such that He could manifest Himself through us. Not every church-goer is able to reveal God through his or her life, but only the Son Who is in God’s bosom can do that.

So Jesus came into this world to show God to people, but now this mission has been passed to us – His disciples:

« As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world» (John, 17:18).

If you consider yourself to be a disciple of Jesus, then it is God’s commandment for you – to reveal God and His unlimited love to other people.

May God abundantly bless every one of you on this wonderful day!

Till tomorrow!

«Thanks God, I already have such habit». I am glad about you. The other might say «I´ve already tried, but failed to do so”. I am glad about you too.I pray today, so that this Word helps you to overcome your weakness and instability solving this issue.First of all, I want to stress out the fact, that prayer is love relationships with God. Why do I mention that and why it´s so important when you try to make prayer as your habit. We already discussed it, that prayer is not learning of different methods about how convince God to do our will. Lack of necessity to pray is one of few reasons why believers pray just a little.

  • Our supreme call to manifest God in the flesh

Based on 2nd Corinthians 4:1-5 we have already underlined the following principles:1) We all already have a ministry – to reveal or manifest God to this world.2) We must understand the ministry we received is by mercy and not by personal merits. It is by the grace of God.

  • Lust brings sin, and sin brings death

«Let no man say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God,” for God can’t be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death. Don’t be deceived, my beloved brothers. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.» (James 1:13-17).

  • You have been created, redeemed and restored! You were born twice!

We are not only created by God, we are also reworked or recreated by Jesus Christ. We are talking about the opportunity available to sinful people because Christ has come into this world. This is exactly what the letter to Ephesians says:«You were made alive when you were dead in transgressions and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the powers of the air, the spirit who now works in the children of disobedience; among whom we also all once lived in the lust of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus; for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.» (Ephesians 2:1-10).
