Whatever a man sows that shall he also reap

Good day everyone! Today God has quickened on my heart to remind you that no one can mock God. The scripture for your meditation today is in the book of Galatians 6:7-10:
”Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.  For he that soweth unto his own flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth unto the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not be weary in well–doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. So then, as we have opportunity, let us work that which is good toward all men, and especially toward them that are of the household of the faith”.
The principle is very clear: Whatever a man sows that shall he also reap. All of life is sowing. Our words are seeds, our actions are also seeds. Even all your passivity or inactions are also seeds. So, every day of your life, you are either sowing into the flesh or sowing into the spirit. One way to sow into the spirit is to make use of every opportunity to do that which is good toward all men, especially toward them that are of the household of faith. If you keep sowing into the flesh by consuming all the resources of God on yourself alone, you will only reap corruption and death, but if you will make effort to continually sow into the spirit, this scripture guarantees you life and peace. God is a rewarder. He will openly reward everything you do secretly. Your open result today, good or bad, is a revelation of what you have been sowing in secret. If you don’t like the result you are having, please change the seed you are sowing. There is no shortcut to it. You reap only what you sow. And more so, you reap more than what you have sown. God’s word to you today is simply this: stop deceiving and mocking yourself by thinking you will reap something different than what you are sowing. The truth is that whatever a man sows, that also shall he reap.Remain blessed! Pastor Rufus Ajiboy.

But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.» (Mark 4:3-8)

    In the Gospel of Mathew Jesus told a parable about Master giving his servants different talents. «For the kingdom of heaven is like a man travelling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered goods to them. And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey» (Mathew, 25: 14-15).Jesus shows us here that the criterion of His assessment is not quantity, but faithfulness. God know that every one of us has different abilities, so the quantitative result will be different for different people. Numbers are not important to Jesus; He cares about how faithful you have been with what God has given you. He cares about your attitude towards His work.

  • What we do with our potential?

    A talent is almost the same as potential. The parable of talents could just as well be called the parable of potential. Potential is something unfinished that can be developed and completed. In the beginning potential can be invisible, but it nevertheless exists. In order to transform potential into reality, it must be developed. Based on the potential given to you, you can change your present condition. There is a beginning of change in you and everything you need to change your life. You have to develop your potential and bring it to completion.

  • Prayer must be my first priority

    Today I would like to talk more about the third point. I finished saying that prayer is more about what God wants to tell you and what He wants to do in your life and not what you want to tell Him. So you do not need to tell God what is on your heart; allow God to work through His Word giving Him opportunity to work in your heart and reveal to you His plans. If you want to hear God, you cannot be in a hurry. Effective prayer has nothing to do with haste.
