What are you doing with your promotion?

Peace and grace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ! By God’s mercy and love today we have been given another day.We have been talking about how to earn God’s promotion. God wants to promote us; we just need to keep our hearts humble and follow His principles.
«Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life» (1 Timothy, 6:17-19).
Promotion is connected to the issue of wealth, and we are not talking just about money. Riches are more than money. Health, joy, good relationships, peace, rest, and love – those too are riches. Many people have lots of money, but they lack true riches. God tells us today not to be haughty and not trust in material things; we need to trust God alone. We should be generous and sociable. When problems come, God is the only One Who can help us. Trust God and do good works. By doing this, you will draw God’s attention and earn God’s promotion. But you and I need to understand this truth: when God exalts a person, He does not do it for him, but for other people whose needs he will be able to meet. We do not only live for ourselves. If after promotion you forget about the needs of others, then you do not deserve to keep that promotion.When God chose Abram, He said that He will exalt Abram so that he would become a blessing for a multitude of people. It is very important what our attitude is towards the needs of those that are around us.
«And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren» (Luke, 22:31-32).
This verse tells us that God gave peter an assignment to strengthen his brethren. By promoting Peter, God meant to help others around him. When God promotes you, you should pay attention to the people around you. People are praying for their needs to be met, and God answers them through those He has promoted and exalted.What are you doing with your promotion? If your promotion does not help others to solve their problems and meet their needs, then this promotion will most likely go back to God.Promotion from the Lord envelopes so many blessings that they are enough fro you and also for great many people God sends your way. Be a wise steward of God’s blessings in the season of your promotion. Always remember that promotion is not only for you, but is for others also whom God desires to bless through you and your promotion.May God abundantly bless you this day!Till tomorrow!Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

    We mostly think that our destiny is determined by other people or how they act toward us. Or we think that destiny depends on the circumstances that surround us or things that happen around us. But it is not true, and God does not think that way! God knows that the circumstances in your life won’t define your life. What people do or do not do to you cannot determine your life. Your destiny is defined by where your heart is. Thus, God tells us that we have to guard our hearts with all diligence.

  • We must prepare the way so that the Lord could come in glory and fullness!

    God has a way. He does not force Himself on people; He is the God of order. Until there will be a way prepared for God, He won’t come. Many of us would like for God to come, but He does not come without proper preparation. God goes where people are ready for His visitation. And when God comes, then all barriers are cast aside, the desert starts blooming, the mountains and hills are brought down, the valleys will be filled, the crooked places are made straight and the rough places are made smooth. God can show us the great picture of what He wants to do among us and through us as His people or the Church. But it will take a serious preparation and it will require of us to be very responsible.

I have to allow God to change myself and my character.     Today I would like to complete our discussion about searching for a goal of our life, and how we can find true happiness under the sun. We observed Solomon who measured long and burdensome way looking for his happiness and satisfaction.Thanks God for having it written for us, so that we can avoid the mistakes Solomon mentions in the book of Proverbs. Solomon has understood that life without God is an absolute illusion, but happiness without God is a mirage. This is what he writes as a conclusion to his book:«This is the end of the matter. All has been heard. Fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every work into judgement, with every hidden thing, whether it is good, or whether it is evil.» (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14).

    Responsible person is not forgetful.Responsible person does not need to be reminded the same things over and over again. It is enough to say it once for a responsible person to bear it in his mind.A responsible person records all important information, significant assignments or appointments. If nothing can be required of you because you keep forgetting things, it means you are irresponsible. There are people around us that say all the time, „Sorry, I forgot”. Such people usually are irresponsible and unreliable.
