The importance of our faithfulness to God

I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ and pray that mercy and grace of the Lord be multiplied unto you this day.We talked about God’s desire for us to be those that expand His Kingdom on this earth. God is very serious about fulfillment of His will on earth as it is in heaven, about establishment of His Kingdom here, on the earth. We also talked about the fact that if we want to take part in spreading God’s Kingdom we must take the position of overcomers in Christ. Yesterday we shortly examined some instruments that we can use to walk in victory over our enemies. We named three things: the power of the blood of Christ, the power of our testimony and the commitment to God.Today I would like to discuss the importance of our faithfulness to God. Let’s turn to the Word of God:
«The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. These will make war with the Lamb, and he Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful» (Revelation, 17:12-14).
This passage has a very deep meaning. The process of spreading God’s Kingdom gets us involved in a cruel war. The enemy mobilizes powerful and united army to cast down the influence of God’s Kingdom in all the areas of society. Satanic army will make war with the Lamb by fighting His Body – the Church. The enemy will fight the believers, committed disciples of Jesus Christ. This war is already going on, and you and I are in the very middle of the fights. We can feel it in our lives and in our country. But I will not like you to just think about the war, think rather about the end results of the war. In his spirit John saw the results of the war; – the Lamb overcame the army of the enemy. Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords, and as such He will never lose! I think none of us have any doubts or questions about His victory. But you should really see that His victory is not only based on Him being the King and the Lord, but also on the faithfulness of the people with Him. Together with His faithful saints, the Lamb has the victory.
«.. and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful» (Revelation, 17:14).
In order to join the army of victors in Christ Jesus, it is important for us to be qualified in these three areas: in your calling, in been a chosen vessel and in faithfulness. Tomorrow we will talk about it in detail, but today I’d like you to see that the war is inescapable; but in this war God counts on His called, chosen and faithful people. Are you going to be a part of God’s army who is involved in the war in which the victory of the Lamb is already guaranteed? Are you going to take part in the victory of the Lord so that His Kingdom can penetrate all the spheres of our society?Make a firm decision today to be a part of God’s army. Realize that we already have the victory and that is the position we fight from.Until tomorrow!Be blessed!Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

  • Our highest calling – to reveal God in our flesh II

Jesus dwells in me, therefore I must manifest His life to others. Jesus did not reveal Himself to others; He only revealed and manifested to others Who the Father is and He did only the Father’s will. God said in His Word that whoever glorifies Him will also be glorified by Him. When God glorifies or uplift you, nobody can break, humiliate or pull you down.«Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing» (2 Corinthians, 2:14-15).
  • Do you know that you are not all you could be yet?

“And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. 19And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. 20And they straightway left their nets, and followed him”In the above passage, Jesus saw two brothers trying to catch fish by the sea side and immediately recognized that they have a better destiny, so He instructed them to follow Him. This word of God to you today is this: Follow me and I will make you.Do you know that you are not all you could be yet? Only the Lord knows who you are created to be and He wants to make you become who you are really created to be. That is why He said “I will make you”.
  • Daily obedience to God in different areas of your life will bring you to your calling IV

«Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heave, that it cannot hear» (Isaiah, 59:1).God loves every person. He has prepared an amazing destiny for every one of us. Each person is born for specific purpose. Every one has a calling, but only the Lord knows what that calling includes. When a person fully submits to the Lord, then He opens to this person everything that concerns his or her calling.
  • Confession of our sins before God

God cleanses and heals us from inside out. And one of the most important elements leading to the inner healing is confession of our sins before God and forgiving of other people’s transgressions. «And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors» (Mathew, 6:12).When we come to God in prayer, we must confess our sins and ask Him to heal us. Such a prayer brings healing and deep inner cleansing.
  • Poverty and failure have roots and laziness is an obvious one

One of the reasons for spiritual coldness and lukewarmness is negligence and laziness. Marital failure, financial poverty, failure in ministry and many other forms of poverty can all be traced back to the same root of negligence or dealing with a slack hand.“He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich” (Proverbs 10:4)
