The importance of our faithfulness to God II

Precious children of God, I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ and I bless you this day! May this day be successful for you and full of the glory of the Lord!We have been talking about God’s desire for us to be actively involved in the spreading of His Kingdom on this earth.Yesterday we said that the victory is the Lord’s. This victory is secured by God Himself, because He is the Lord of lords and the King of kings. The enemy is mobilizing a powerful and united army to cast down the influence of God’s Kingdom but it won’t happen; God will make sure that the kingdom of this earth will become the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. For this reason God left us on the earth so that we can be involve in the process of expanding God’s Kingdom until Jesus’ Second Coming.Today we will finish talking about this topic.
“These will war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful» (Revelation, 17:12-14).
We already saw that despite the fact that our God is the Lord of lords and the King of kings He has made a decision to work in cooperation with His Church. God counts on the people He has called, chosen and who have been faithful. In order for us to join the group of victors in Christ it is important for to do some things first.According to this passage of Scripture, the first thing we need to do is to answer the call of God. God unceasingly calls people: if you have not yet repented of your sins, then He is calling you right now to do just that; if you have repented, then God is calling you to become a disciple of Jesus Christ; if you are already His disciple, God is calling you to serve people. God continuously calls people. The victors in Christ are those who have answered God’s call. But for us to join this army of victors in Christ we need to stay faithful to God, faithful to our mission in the Kingdom of God. According to the Scriptures, many are called, but few are chosen. Unless you answer the call, you cannot be chosen by God. If you are already chosen by Him you will not have victory unless you remain faithful to God until the end. It is not the beginning that tells the story; it is the end.
«Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus, who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house. For this One has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as He who built the house has more honor than the house. For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God. And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be spoken afterward…» (Hebrews, 3:1-5).
This passage of Scripture says that we are partakes of heavenly calling. God counts on our involvement and participation just as He counted on Moses’ victory over Pharaoh. Moses was faithful in the house of God, and for this reason Pharaoh could not stop the process of the deliverance and the salvation of God’s people despite his power, his strength and his huge army.Jesus Christ was faithful to His mission and for this reason in Him all people in this world have an opportunity to receive redemption, salvation and deliverance.God calls us as His children to be like Jesus and to be like Moses; He calls us to remain faithful to our heavenly calling. God always has the victory! He advances the influence and the work of His Kingdom through the faithfulness of His Church. It is important for us to remember that our main mission – as the Body of Christ and as individual believers – is to establish and to spread His Kingdom in this earth. In order for the Kingdom to spread forth we need to answer God’s call and to remain faithful to this calling till the very end. And then the Kingdom of God will be on earth as it is in heaven.God bless you!Pastor Rufus Ajiboye

Prayer is getting close to God.Let’s look at James (4:8): «Draw near to God and He will draw near to you…».Prayer means to consciously draw near to God. Prayer means to approach God on purpose.Who of you wants to draw near to God? Who of you desires for God to draw near to you? God cannot be closer to you than He is. But you can draw near to Him. God is so close to us; He says: „I am here!” You are asking: «God, where are You?” Remember when Elijah ran away and cried: «God, where are You?” But God was with him. God is everywhere! And we can draw near to Him through prayer.
  • Worship the Lord

God wants us to talk to Him the way we talk to our father. Jesus said in His prayer: “… blessed be Thy Name!” The word “bless” means He worshipped the God Father in reverence to Him. Worship prepares our soul to meet the God. It also involves our spirit. Just like in order to listen to a broadcast on the radio you need to tune it up first, worship helps us to turn our spirit on and tune it up on the God´s wave. Jesus taught:«You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve»
  • What are you doing with your talent? II

The world is changing very rapidly. I am convinced that new changes will come into our lives with an increasing speed. If I told you about different predictions and ideas that experts have about our future, then the hearts of many people would be filled with fear. One pastor spoke to me about it and I saw his heart getting filled with fear after hearing all the predictions. He asked me what to do with all of it; is it worth making big plans if all these terrible things are inevitably coming upon the earth? I told him that – thank God – we have the Bible that contains all the answers.
  • When we obey God, then divine power is released to bring about the manifestation of all necessary intervention

The bible has this to say about obedience: “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land” (Isaiah 1: 19). Whether or not we will taste the blessings of the earth depends on our obedience.Marry told the attendants at marriage feast in Cana of Galilee: “Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it” (John 2: 5).
  • We must prepare the way so that the Lord could come in glory and fullness! II

Yesterday we started talking about God’s desire to demonstrate His glory and fullness in our lives; for this to happen we have to prepare our hearts and to prepare the way of the Lord. We have to cleanse our hearts from the things that God hates and cannot look upon. The following verses from the Scripture reveal the principle of preparation the way of the Lord.«In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying: “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the LORD; make His paths straight.’”» (Mathew, 3:1-3).
