The reward of faithful service in the Kingdom of God

Dear friends, you are welcome to our daily word for spiritual strength. I hope you are enjoying these daily encouragements from the word of God. Today I want to emphasise the reward of faithful service in the Kingdom of God. One of the rewards of faithful service in the Kingdom of God is prosperity. The Bible says God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrew 11: 6). Jesus also said those who seek first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness will be rewarded with the necessities of life. Our God is a God who sees in secret and who rewards us openly, so others can see it. God will never forget your work and the labour of love you showed towards His Name (Hebrew 6:10). If you mind God’s business, He will mind your business (Matthew 6:33). His business is to seek and save that which is lost, to spread the values and influence of His Kingdom through the earth. It is profitable to put God and His business first in our lives, because that is one of the sure ways to a prosperous life. Prosperity in the Kingdom of God is not just a function of hard work, planning, strategies and prayer. Prosperity is also a reward for kingdom service. God will make a difference between those who serve Him and those who do not (Malachi 3:14-18). If you desire a prosperous life, please take some time today and check your dedication to kingdom service as you meditate on the following Scriptures: Exodus 23:25–26; Hebrews 6:10; 11:6; Matthew 6:4; 6:33. Remember, 
 There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for Christ’s sake, and the gospel’s, but he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life (Mark 10: 30-31).

    «For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil» (Ecclesiastes, 12:14). Solomon said the same thing Jesus said: God will bring into judgment our every work and especially all the hidden works: sins, wrongdoings that we have tried to keep in secret. God will openly bring our every deed into the light of His judgment. It means that all our sins will follow us wherever we go. The only way we can avoid the consequences of our sins and wrongdoings – is to repent before God brings them into the judgment. Repentance opens to us the door of mercy and grace from the Lord. It brings into our life new opportunities from the Lord. For this reason the only right lifestyle and the only correct decision is to repent of our wrongdoings so that God won’t have to judge us.

    God counts on our involvement and participation just as He counted on Moses’ victory over Pharaoh.
