All true ministry begins in the presence of God II

Greetings to you in the Name of Jesus! Today I want to continue our talk on starting ministry in the presence of God. Yesterday we saw the example of Lord Jesus Christ Himself, but today we are going to see the example of prophet Isaiah. The classic example of prophet Isaiah is another strong illustration that shows us how effective ministry must begin in the presence of God. The prophet went into the temple to worship. In other word, he drew near to God and enters into the presence of God. As soon as he did, few things happened that I will like us to look into diligently: The first thing that happened is that Isaiah saw the glory of God and heard the Cherubim declaring through song how the whole earth is filled with the Glory of God;
“In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory” (Isaiah 6: 1-3).
Even though in the natural, things looked terribly different, Isaiah was able to see God’s perspective. One of the reasons ministry need to start in the presence of God is this: As you draw near to God, you will be enabled to walk by faith instead of just walking by sight.We are instructed to live like that in 2Corithian 5: 7
“We live by faith, not by sight”
How is that possible? we receive the power to do that as we regularly spend time in the presence of God. We will look at what people call problems, but instead of seeing what they are seeing, we will see possibilities. When you spend time with God, He allows you to see things from a glorious perspective instead of a disastrous perspective.Spend some time in God presence today and allow Him to show you His own perspective about that problem you have been battling recently.     First of all, you need a revelation from God. Learning to recognise the voice of your Heavenly Father and getting to know Him as your best friend is vitally important. God is willing to give you wisdom, understanding and revelation in every sphere of your life. Though, when a revelation and wisdom are received from God, you have to write them down in whole. Then it becomes a spring of life, that gives breathe to you and brings hope that releases faith and trust on God in you.To write something down means to record the vision a paper. We have to put it down clearly, the way it makes sense to us later. Thus, we can bring our vision into reality, so that we can expect it and put our hopes upon. This is one of the methods how to cling with the vision together and dedicate yourself to fulfil it. Prophet Habakkuk reminds us about the importance of writing down the vision you have received from God.

  • Hope of salvation

    «But let us, since we belong to the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and, for a helmet, the hope of salvation. For God didn’t appoint us to wrath, but to the obtaining of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.».We have already talked a lot about the role of faith and walking in love last time. Today we begin to discuss the role of hope of salvation. We need faith today. By faith we possess peace today, regardless of what is happening around us. By faith we enter God´s rest even nowadays.

  • Your surrounding has an impact on you, it determines whether you enter the destiny God has prepared for you or you don´t II

    Jesus as our Model made friends based on his or her willingness to do God´s will. His never chose friends just because a certain person was a relative or a stranger, poor or rich, a law teacher or a sinner. Those who desired to do God´s will were “a brother, a sister and a mother” to Him. In opposite case Jesus only tried to help such person to understand the purpose of his life and unite him or her with the Creator while those who wanted to do God´s will in their life became His best friends.

  • I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me!

    According to the word of God we are already granted everything we need in order to succeed in this life. God has already given us all that we need to have life abundantly. There is no such need in our life God has not taken care for yet. We only have to get to know God and His precious promises, so that we can prevail the lust of this world and fulfil our call from God.«Seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue; by which he has granted to us his precious and exceedingly great promises; that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust.». (2 Peter 1:3-4).

  • Life without prayer is a road to nowhere

    When a person repents, he can start developing his prayer life. We must know that God does not turn away from us even when we do not pray. God is very patient and He wants us to understand that without prayer we are spiritually weak and unable to enter the things He has prepared for us. Effective prayer is the thing that opens a way for us and allows God to walk ahead of us. God waits until we come to full realization of it. He is good to His children, but His goodness must lead us to repentance. Many people do not understand it. Sometimes we do things that go against God’s orders and at the same time we feel like it is alright.
